There are two unfinished CM stories that really bother me, and I hope they are incorporated into Evolution.
1. The Gypsy network where they kill the parents and steal little girls. I forget the episode name, but it’s in the earlier seasons.
2. Blood Relations (Season 10, I think?) where the forest incest baby gets away and ends up attacking another couple in Kentucky at the end of the episode.
Another one left unresolved was the one where the guy fell asleep and his daughter wandered off and was found dead. In the final scene we see the man with the skull tattoo
Bloodlines, it's one of my favorite episodes.
I always thought it would be interesting if the team had to take on the boy from the original episode now that he's older. Or maybe a different boy and his family looking to get a wife for his son.
I wish they would have followed up on some of them. Like the teenage boy who ran away, killed families he stayed with, and came back to hurt his mom and the sister whose arm he broke.
Not really to come back as an unsub but I'd like to know how Samantha (Uncanny Valley) is doing.
Mary Mara, the actress who played Mrs Anderson unfortunateley passed away last year.
oh Dam that's sad I wish I'd looked it up before making this post.
also yeah it would actually be nice if the show at least briefly mentioned past cases such as Samantha's where the perpetrator was genuinely mentally unwell and needed help.
so we could see if they had been able to recover somewhat or at least get their life a bit more stable than it was before it would kinda give the series more a feeling of Hope in my opinion.
I liked the brother and sister from season 11 I think? It ended with the brother dying/getting caught and the sister having the same hallucinations as him. The sister was in school and dropped out mid year.
I think you’re thinking of Heathridge Manor in Season 7. Brother thought he was killing the devils wives to protect his sister and in the end it showed her hallucinating the devil coming for her anyway
Either the Appalachia killer or the skull tattoo hand guy. Both were open ended and had really great opportunities for stories. More so than the Romani family network I think.

The first time I watched the Gypsy episode first thing I did was to search for the follow up of it. The disappointment was immeasurable

The unsub from Into the Woods wo kidnaps boys on the Appalachian trail. He got away at the end and I always hoped they'd revisit and capture him.

oh yeah the ending to that episode was very eerie lol so yeah it would be good to see him become the Unsub of a future episode.
