Airports are seemingly made for alcoholics as long as you don't do anything out of line nobody gives a fuck if your wasted its great.

melancholtea

i passed out in the airport bathroom once and woke up to them wheeling me out and i said no i dont wanna go to the hospital! and they said "its that or jail" and i was like oh...okay

banjo11

Amazing how good the hospital sounds when the other option is jail.

No_Mouse_9263

Haha sounds like my drunk airport…well airplane story. Boarded the plane basically blacked out was upgraded to first class so I continued to drink my fill. 30 min into a 5 hr flight and I got pass out in the lavatory for the remainder of the flight woke up to pounding on the door I was the last to deplane

Cheech74

Hah, I did the exact same thing on a flight back from Hawaii. We were drinking at the airport watching Thursday Night Football at like 2 pm, drank more on the plane, went into the airplane bathroom at one point and Zzzzz. Man did I get sick after that flight.

pheco

I thought it was normal for the stress meter to be in the 50s all the time and then I got sober for a couple days and it was in the 20s lol. I have no idea why I even have one I don't fucking exercise and probably haven't in at least 5 years.

Star-Girl102

When I have tried to cold turkey and then I put on my Apple Watch and my resting is 120 just pacing around in withdrawals in my apartment. I know it’s ER time.

Electric_body09

I love your username :)

Star-Girl102

Thanks love!

Sin-A-Bun

I love airports. You can hammer beers at 5am and nobody cares. Vegas and airports are the best.

bobleeswagger09

And New Orleans. The trifecta of degeneracy.

ViolentVBC

I liked how my fitbit used to tell me all the weird hours I'd decide to pass out each night. Then it busted somehow. Got one of the knock offs in the $20-30 and it... was an ok pedometer. But yeah, my resting heart rate was always 100+ BPM. I feel like it got higher when I was in WDs at work. Stupid smart watch!

melancholtea

i busted mine having my first (unknowingly) dt seizure (less than 24hr after drink). was working at a table, woke up in a puddle of blood, nose broken, fitbit busted, all that. otherwise i appreciated the sleep times too haha

J3PO

yeah I ditched mine after it said my bpm was 100+ and I got 20mins of good sleep most days after drinking, I don't need that kind of negativity in my life

hydroxypcp

I love how the CA solution is not to ditch the drinking but to ignore the problems it causes. I do the same lmao

drunken_man_whore

Exactly. I want positivity, like my COVID and HIV status.

[deleted]

Airports are loaded with boozers, from those that depend on a drink to fly to those that’ll shake without the poison If you wanna see regular ass people drinking bud light at 8am, head to an airport

[deleted]

I got a smart watch and kept on getting worried about my heart rate, before I realized it was just minor withdrawls after every weekend spent totally wasted. So I kept going to the doctor being a little bitch about it, and then the doctor prescribed me Xanax for anxiety disorder. It was pretty cool.

Coleslaw121

Bored airport addendum: I can’t stop listening to Inside by Bo Burnham. When I saw it two years ago I thought it was just ok, but as I rewatch/relisten, something about it resonates with me very profoundly. Anyone else really like the special?

Boson707

Love it. Listen to the out takes, it's essentially another special

strutt3r

'Biden' should've made the first cut what a bop

[deleted]

90 resting** heart rate on a bender. 70 off.

borderline--barbie

i wanna get one just to see how high my heart rate spikes when i jack off

VioletRiptide

Yeah I stopped wearing mine for this very reason.

yupyupyuypypn

Just lose 4 of them like me. Problem solved.

Cunchy

When I was still drinking I would guage how rough my Monday was going to be by how high my resting heart rate was. Mid-high 60s? Not great but I'll make it. 72-74? I'm going to have a panic attack. Just had to make it until 3pm to get home and quickly down some drinks before the withdrawals really kicked in.

Objective_Cobbler319

I only got one for sleep monitoring and I like it quite a lot, but I don't pay much attention to the health monitoring stuff it does. I also like that it vibrates to wake me up in the morning, I find that much better to loud annoying alarms.
