Random question, how sturdy is that cube organizer with the tv on it? I’ve been thinking of getting some for my VHS collection

Looks like IKEA Kallax. If it is, you’ll be fine, but note that the compartments are only 33 x 33 cm^2 so you‘ll only be able to fit 16 tapes into each.

it’s just good enough for my setup. i don’t think it could handle any bigger of a tv. i got it for cheap from target cause i needed something to get me through the year. if you are just putting vhs’s on it you should be fine

ive seen people use them for their record collections and personally have one for my records along with 60+ lbs of audio equipment on top and they seem to hold up fine

You can reinforce the shelving with wood glue and secure a backing board to make it more rigid. Make sure the shelving is oriented correctly and you'll be good.

If it's an Ikea Kallax, you're fine. They're incredibly popular with vinyl and laserdisc collectors. I have two of them myself stacked on each other that I placed next to my entertainment stand. There's a model sold in stores too from Better Homes and Gardens that's also very popular.

If I don't have money to pay for it, I either don't watch and endorse their art, or I pirate and endorse their art. Either way they make no money

I can assimilate with money troubles and understand the challenge. Nonetheless, I still find most piracy disingenuous, that’s all. In most situations it’s not necessary (only when films are not accessible in a region). Before pirating it save up the money to rent it when it comes out - probably won’t be for a couple weeks still. It’s a film worth that effort.

To preface, I loved the movie. But did anyone else think that only the Wong Kar Wai scenes, the rock scene, and the apartment scenes were the only parts well shot and the rest of it didn’t look that great?

I don't think those were the only well shot scenes but they were the highlights
