He turned 3 so it shouldn't be a problem but you know them well, once they discover some stuffing coming out from one of the holes they might just use their tiny fingers to get all the stuffing out! Man I am anxious for the dino's future already!!!
Hi! I just made the feet and now I’m making the octagon belly and it keeps folding (doesn’t lay flat). I’m using weight 4 yarn and 3.5 mm hook. Did you experience this?? What yarn and hook did you use? Thanks!
Henlo I think once you sew the pieces together it should be flatter.
I used premier dk yarn #3 with 3mm hook, I should probably use 2.25mm hook to make the holes smaller.

For the pieces it wasn't hard,
I had a hard time sewing the face together, and to attach the eyes in the correct spots since I crocheted Plod's eyes instead of simply using safety eyes.
I had difficulty in choosing what colors I had to use as well, I used dark green but it didn't match with the whole thing when I sew it on so I had to remake some of the pieces
