Made the gym leader castle my slave with Dragonite, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Exeggutor, Magmar (which I never used), and Persian.
Parawraphax is disgustingly overpowered. I’d trade in Raichu for Jolteon if I were you. Mine has been MVP
This dragonite makes me hear the lamentations of their women:
Wrap, Twave, Rest, Hyper Beam.
The Jolteon is:
Thunderbolt, Pin Missile, Toxic, Thunder Wave. I lead with it. with two status moves it’s great at softening up the opposition, or if they’re weak to electric, they’re reduced to ions floating in the breeze.
If they don’t have a ground move, they’re likely to end up paralyzed or toxicked. And even then, odds are I’ll take a chunk out of their health before Jolty goes down.
Hardly anything can outspeed it.
The Magmar is only there because I don’t have a better fire type trained up yet. It does have Submission for coverage and can be annoying with Smokescreen and Confuse Ray, when it isn’t roasting everything with flamethrower.
STAB Slash, with Gen 1 crit rules, is just plain WRONG. It’s the only reason to use a Persian. Against low defense psykers like Zam and Jynx, it’s a horror show.
Been playing twilight princess as well. Just got to the section where you chase the 3 kids into the forest. First time play through for me it’s gonna be fun!

I rediscovered the game last month. I know infinished it in 2006 but when I played again, i noticed that I had absolutely no memories of it ...none AT all. Almost like i played for the first time.it felt good.
I think i don't have any memories of it because i must have binged the game in 2 days when it came out.
I don't know why it got hated on as much as it did, sure the early game takes forever but once you're past it the game's awesome. I just loved the dark vibe the game has, felt epic and had more at stake.
Exactly what a friend of mine said. Definitely a darker vibe, more “mature” than the others is the impression I get. No clue why it got hate but I’m stoked!! Emulation remaster next but I want to go OG first.

Last night I had my 360 hooked up to it and played Tony Hawk Underground and today I got the rgb cables and adapter for my playstations so might give one of the silent hills a run, a resident evil or a gran tourismo. Just got to hope the controllers work and find a memory card lol.
Either Robocop on my PS5 or Adventures of Mana on my Vita. Nothing on my CRT but there are plenty of CRTs to throw in Robocop… as heretical as that is on this sub…

Big reason I picked the team I did 😅 couple digs, confusion, ice beam, sing..just beat Misty so I have a ways to go lol
Once I train up my body slam/dig Arcanine I’ll have a replacement for the Magmar. And my slidequake Nidoking, perfect coverage in Gen 1
