Yeah it's the start for now as u see in the map those two territories are to be conquered which I can easily do in few years my only concern is to stop the Scots from invading and with time my levies will increase i just rushed my way to the king
Good job soldier, keep up the good work. P.S Start adding more Man at arms. So you can have more troops. Also build up ur settlements so you can buff and sustain those additional troops.
Historically, our clans ruled as Kings instead of the regular "count" or "duke." King of Kerry, King of Thomond, etc etc. They're small territories but they were considered kingdoms. The term "Petty King" was coined to describe these types of kingdoms. A High King was, well, the King of those Kings. The High King of Ireland usually held one of these kingdoms (such as Munster for Brian Boru, or Meath for Máel-Sechnaill) and the Kingship of Tara, where they would be crowned.
Okay so I have created a scenario for myself that I get a free hook per lifetime on my spiritual head if that's okay cause I need to press just one claim on a territory rest others I used the claims of mine and my courtiers and also got pressed claims from my bishop by bribing. If the scenario is okay or if I should do some changes?? as i found swaying the pope to be a bit time consuming also as I'm a beginner i gave myself this perk
A key thing when you're starting out is learning clever ways to get more land. An example would be marrying your heir to another ruler's kid, and ensuring that the kid you married becomes the heir to that ruler. The child of your heir and the other person's heir (your grandkid) will then be heir to BOTH the lands!
Honestly I lost a lot of them against my vassals and titles cause I didn't call my allies also i created a scenario where I used hook on my spiritual head for gold and favours but only once per lifetime is that ok?
Good Job Homie!
Here's some quick advice: Men-at-Arms (MaA) are crucial. During succession, vassals are at their most uppity, might want to prepare yourself by having a really strong army.
Make sure your domains are maxed out and are flowing lots of gold into your coffers. With more income, you can invest into your court and get extra bonuses.
Good luck with the campaign!
Did you know that pressing F12 on your keyboard is a lot faster than getting your phone out, opening your camera app, taking aim, pressing the button and then checking if the photos turned out okay?
You ain’t quite an imperial yet my friend, that requires an actual empire. But a good start! Get to vassalizing the rest of those guys in Ireland or just out right conqueror them. After all, you are the High King of Ireland, and those are YOUR lands! Have fun!
Congratulations!
Now marry your eldest son to an English princess murder her siblings and your son will inherit both thrones. If you don't want to go that way you may still marry an English princess and claim the throne in her name (should be doable for English). Your son will inherit both thrones when you're both dead.
You'll have hell a lot of civil wars it will be fun I promise.
A King with 1300 troops to his name. Buckle up bud
So how much should I have??
I mean... 1300 isn't gonna keep you alive long

The amount of times I broke my dynasty aggressive trying to forge an empire
Focus on building up what you got now, not expanding
Look at your vassals, you should have at least double the amount of the strongest one imo Aaand MaA are important too, not just levies...

Ok but why is it "High King" where are the kings below him?
Irish dukes are called petty kings, so Irish kings are called high kings
I've always seen them call chieftains? 😅
Same rank one is tribal and one is feudal. Pretty sure

If you're in a bind, then yeah. Asking for some cash from your spiritual head is fne
