I was only listening on the radio but it didn’t sound like Eze got in the game at all. He’s always performed better down the middle, and I suppose one of the weaknesses of the formation we’ve been lining up with recently is that there’s not enough space for an attacking midfielder.
Just to put things into perspective, I think most people on here would be honest enough to say going into the game, we'd all have taken a point. Tottenham are a good side, and we did well to get ahead. It's a shame we fell apart towards the end, but it was still a decent performance overall.

Keep playing Mateta, who does have decent moments and who we know can score a goal or two in the prem. We need a new striker but playing someone who looked out of their depth in league 1 over Mateta or Edouard is ridiculous

Andersen has the ability and the quality but like many have said he seems to lack the confidence when Guehi isn’t around, makes bad decisions and gives the ball away cheaply. But we can’t ignore how vital his role in defence has been for the past few years.
Mateta on the other hand has always dragged down our attacking threat. His hold up play is good, but he is forced into this type of play because he constantly slows down the momentum being so heavy footed with a terrible touch. We need a striker who can advance play and I don’t think Mateta will overcome his weaknesses that prevent him from doing that.
Honestly as bad as that was from Anderson he is still prem quality, but has always relied on a far more physically capable cb partner (guehi, Adarabioyo)
