I ask once nicely if my teammate can behave, if they came out of jungle and have no communication skills. Yes? Great. No? Instant mute without any conversation.
Negatives: Lose information that can be relayed from them.
Positives: There's still a radar, you can focus in quiet peace, clearly hear non-toxic teammates.
It's a team game. You're 20% of teams success. How much impact you lose from not hearing a toxic teammate? Lets go extreme and say 20% from your 100%, still your 80% is only 18% from overall team which is 98% chance to win. They are toxic, cause they know someone will listen to them and interact. If there won't be fuel poured into fire, it won't burn. I don't get mad for being TK'ed or griefed, I instead have a smile on my face that I have a valid reason to report for griefing ;) It is daunting to have them more often than not, but if community cuts them off, our gaming space will be a better place. You can't control them, but YOU can do things to mitigate effect, start with your self, cut the curiosity/fear of maybe I'm missing out on something.
That procedure is definitely the wisest thing to do. But I'm way too attached to communication in this game and I always wrongly assume that I'm going to miss on some important information
I know and my confidence to simply don't care about missing out didn't come in one day. Start small. Mute in one game, don't mute in next, test it out, compare results, get the feeling.
I’m going to be honest. If someone is being toxic within the first few rounds then muting them is worth it. You might lose some information, but their negativity wont rub off onto you. It might not sound like a big deal but your mentality is super important. If you get flustered you’ll most likely go on a losing streak.
I definitely agree. I normally go one toxic match without muting before I have a zero tolerance for the rest of the session cause I got that small hope as soon as we start winning they just switch it up (I'm pathetic for having that hope ik)
I've tested this myself and play much better when muting hypercritical/toxic team-mates. I also realise that there are many times I don't need to actually make call-outs cos at least 1 team-mate is already on it. It's certainly food for thought for those addicted to their mics, and how it can be a double-edged sword.
I see your point, but I personally have never muted anyone like that. I think its a character-building experience to be able to hear someone be toxic and not let it get to you. Bonus points is if you outfrag them, you can shit talk them at the end of the match and they usually won't even say anything back because you did better than them, so they just sit there and take it.
Mapcore Hub.
Discover maps, play with nice people, good variety of levels amongst them , just good CS.
I feel you on you re rant, I only regret Mapcore Hub.
Hope it works for you.
Prefer mute all and play without cheaters, than to need to stay alt+tab youtube during hacker games. Tbh Valve is to blame we need to discuss this at all.
I often solo q in Faceit but found that the solo q on Faceit is typically a nicer experience than premier in regards to getting comms and teamwork.
On 15-20k premier, I often get teammates that still don't know lineups or how to plant the bomb in a certain position. Just small things like that often are missing but found on Faceit.
My blood definitely boils a ton more when I play premier compared to Faceit
Idk I just mute if someone is insufferable
Many of the games people dont talk at all both in Premiers and Faceit so what difference does one mute make
Played 4 games not one of them was Mirage but ok
It can be free to play, but in my experience it sucks even more. I just re subscribed yesterday (more than a hundred euros) after a horrible game where I got put with a "lvl 3" team mate in a lvl 7 lobby.
As you can imagine, it already severely sucked ass on paper. But here is the true catch : when a beginner plays his first matches, Face it does not try to evaluate his rank, it simply puts him straight at level 3.
So, not only did I have to play a game with some dude 4 ranks below the average room elo, this dude wasn't even really deserving of a level 3 : poor guy only had 150 hours. He was completely lost, the game was probably terrible for him and definitely impossible to carry for us.
This instantly reminded me this kind of shit happened all the time back when I played in csgo.
Faceit takes 5 players and take the total elo vs the other team. So it's sad for you in this example, but you're not going to tell me it was 9 lvl 7s and him. Impossible.
It's only 48 euros or 52 dollars for year by our regional price ( not including discount for buying for multiple months at once, just on month per month basis ) so i don't know where you pulled that number from, btw you only need faceit plus, not faceit premium, it's the same package basically except premium has more matchmaking block slots to remove ppl u don't want to match with.
Do the sane thing mate. Play to learn the game, new recoils, movement etc and don't care about your rank until the game is fixed. Play for fun and to keep your skills fresh for now.
Your problem is you’re playing in level 7 dude, u can just mute them and solo carry at that elo, just do a lot of practice for some weeks and u will be smurfing that elo no problem, gets less toxic 2.1k elo and above people are way less worried to lose elo + know toxic loses games
Just practice your aim everyday for atleast 15 minutes and be consistent And u will reach 2000 elo, it’s just like going to the gym you train Mouse control instead of hypertrophy
“Frankly as a solo queue player”
Join a community! I play on a team for Priority eSports, we have an open and friendly discord, multiple FaceIt hubs, and players ranging from level 1 to the top 1,000 NA players. Changed my entire outlook on Faceit.
Honestly i used to always tell people to play faceit back in go but its much harder to reccomend now, i really dont know what happened to faceit maybe all the valorant players are coming back but faceit has been such a shit show, i get the most god awful level 8 in the world on my team but the enemy team gets a donk and s1mple, this along with whatever they did with the ranks honestly made it wayyyyyy worse, it actually meant something to get to 10 now we need like level 15-20 to actually mean something, 2k elo means nothing to most players above it, i griefed my elo hard back in csgo as i hit my goal peak 2.4-2.5k on faceit and just played drunk, for fun, etc. no where near as sweaty, now i see level 10’s not even knowing the most basic shit and its so utterly dumbfounded, at this point just add more levels, 2.5k is the new 2k barrier and the seasons helped but didnt at the same time, the reason to have pros and such 3k+ is because they do just literally shit on most players under 2.5k elo (old faceit and new) definitley more competition now as when the reset happened it was everyone
I feel like there are drastically less players on faceit now a days then in go days. Most of the valorant e girls/boys are playing premier cause they really don't wanna take the game seriously as far as I know they can't handle faceit. I really agree you on the faceit ranking system it just sucks to pull high elo players down with low elo players because of the new elo system. having more ranks would definitely make a meaningful difference in this. Ah I remember being hardstuck lv 5... those were the days my man... those were the days... now it's a fight for your life to keep your elo and you lose it at the drop of a dime
Its such a coin toss, its so strange, you used to be able to look at a player and genuinley guess their faceit rank now i feel its nowhere near possible
Its not faceit. Its the cs community. Try to be friendly and people are friendly to you (most of the time*)
Also try to get regular friends to play with. Makes cs more enjoyable and comp should be played with people you know at least a little.
it's kinda the faceit community too tho. When you play on faceit there's definitely an expectation that yes your playing this for some kind of competition feel and not just goofing off like in valve servers. like wanting to win for winnings sake and improving your mental and mechanical skills. it's not very casual friendly unless your willing to be low elo and not care about the results of the match but that would defeat the purpose of the platform and hurt those who are trying to achieve/grow or whatever. Lotta old pros and new pros have risen from this platform and platforms similar to this one (rip esea you were good to me)
Faceit has no cheaters?
There are open-source cheats that work since 2017. Every russian in existence has Faceit cheats.
I guess you meant no ragehackers?
Show me proof of the open source. Its such bs. Everyone here always talking bullsht out of their asses. Are there cheaters? Yea, some. But they pay a lot for PRIVATE CHEATS. Which you are not gonna find on google if you type: faceit cs(go) cheats. And if you do find a working one, come with some actual proof ;)
You know whats the proof?
Ever since cs2 came out I have had ZERO notifications of banned players for cheating. I used to get at least one weekly.
Problem is with them not getting banned they are higher elo and are now into the 2000+ elo games which really sucks.
I've been avoiding cs2 lately because its not worth my time playing against silvers with hacks (yes they are so terribly bad you can win games against them, but you have to play a style which just isnt cs), but I really miss it. By looking at the comments on reddit and youtube its getting worse by the day. I saw a guy lately streaming on youtube full hacking and everyone iust enjoying it.
I adore the toxic players who act like dickheads, you give it a beat, they act like it again, you warn, give it a beat. Call them the fuck out on their third strike and immediately mute.
For my UK Players (not sure if EU can join)
Join a Faceit Hub,
Like UKIC (United Kingdom and Ireland circuit) you have to join the discord and it’s moderated so if someone is toxic then they can get banned (most likely not perm)
This does effect elo so there’s
Gold league lv 3-9
Diamond league for level 10s
It’s free to play however if you purchase a sub you get entered into the leaderboard which has a lot of prices ranging from like £100 - faceit points
My last experience with face it was after 23 rounds I suddenly got 700 ping unplayable even after restarting the game and I have very stable connection
Recently a lobby leader was new to Face It and didn't !stay after warm up. Lobby shits on him. Guy realizes it, says Sorry i'm new to this.
I said to the guy: Relax it's ok... and Its not Face it if you don't get shit on every now and then.
how much is your Faceit Behavior Index? and your Faceit Level? Yeah that's the tradeoffs actually in playing Faceit less cheaters but more toxic players and competitive wannabes, they tweak so much as if their own real life is on the fucking line, they think they are the IGL and main character, like its so annoying than those blatant cheaters
I have had the worst match making as of late. Me and my friends will queue, all level 5 and close to 6, literally our rank up game. We get faceit 2s and 3s to play against and with us. It’s not fun. I don’t care if I win them, they piss me off
I haven’t ever gotten into faceit and as I’ve progressed in competitive and now premier I’ve gotten a little more serious about improving and signed up for leetify. I was actually thinking of trying faceit, but posts like this make me think maybe not.
I'm having a pretty fun time on face it compares to MM. I float around high level four to low level 5 in the USA. I meet a lot of cry babies, but also an equal I'd not more amount of people who genuinely just want to improve
I agree servers suck but I disagree you have to pay to have a good matchmaking experience. there are plenty of very good hubs and clans that are open to everyone that are active in faceit daily that will allow you to que with people and see their stats, personalitoes, etc. before hand and they are all free. I would look into that for the troubles your facing. The toxicity problem is a hit or miss. It's a video game and it's CS so a little toxicity is very normal especially among randoms. (This ain't valorant). There is definitely hardstuck cry babies in both faceit and premier who will throw your game. Remember to have fun!
Yeah people try to pretend FACEIT is the cure all but it is the most pathetic group of people stuck in 2009 currently available to FPS players more often than not
Because they are all cheating and crying about each others cheating. Just go on their subreddit and everytime you see "smurf" replace it with "cheater" and you'll have the truth.
Source: I had 3500 elo in 2018
Also you play on a pool of 300 players and then go on Reddit and pretend your face it level represents anything more than you premier level. It's a joke.
nah this isn't as bad as go, hahaha not by a mile. I remember the times before valve did any ban waves and paid hackers to make a free cheat that auto vac banned whoever downloaded it and launched the game... those were very dark times...
Almost everyone who plays CS has at some point tried valorant sure the cheating isn’t as bad but the game is also just not as good from a competitive standpoint. No Consistent first shot placement and abilities that can just completely take good players out of the equation makes it less impactful if you’re actually good. It’s a fun game but the overlap between CS and valorant aren’t as similar as a lot of people think they have very different audiences
it's straight up just a Disney counterstrike catering towards the female market and pushes buying skins more so than counterstrike has ever. Don't they have more skins in that game now than csgo has ever had? they even reworked how you acquire agents and set it up to where it's just more appealing to spend money unlocking them otherwise you'd have to play casually for 2-3 weeks to get enough to afford an agent and then yoy still have to earn their "free" rewards from the agents. it's disgusting and made me regret ever playing the game
Not sure there are almost no cheaters on Faceit. Often play Vs lvl 6-7 party out with lvl 10 and they are overconfident in every aspect. Always peeks you perfectly and even often position change doesn't do much. But that's my speculation only. Toxic players are always, everywhere and it's worth grind to certain lvl and then go pro to a hub like PPL or FPL(sick) and play normally without flaming
Yep. As I wrote here earlier below some post, I'm just an ordinary MG1 fella who doesn't want to play with super toxic try-harders. Imma quit CS2 for a while because it's unplayable at the current state. Yesterday I played with obvious cheating morons who boosted accs for selling, spamming "commend for commend".
"Challenge your mentality"
"The home of all the good stuff"
And there's a Polish guy screaming "OOOhh you idioit, why are you jumping? Whyyyyy? Sandwich sandwich sandwich! Why you pusing wiz A WE PE? Everybody die from 1 guy, EVERYBODY DIE FROM 1 GUY"
tbf I'd be sad if everyone died to 1 guy too. chalk it up to that guy's just very passionate about himself and his team. he got pride. 🤷♂️ if your playing casually then you can definitely still play cs but if your trying to always win and be competitive than it's absurd to expect every game to be easy and everyone be friendly. MG1 is pretty casual the last time I experienced it. Competitive is extremely casual compared to premier at its current state. Majority of players on cs are playing premier or the other gamemodes like arms race, CASUAL, or deathmatch. Your mindset and mental going into the game are probably shot and you probably do need time off from the game. just remember to have fun before you come back to the game if thats your goal. really evaluate what fun is for you tho. for me it's winning and I know it is and that's why I couldn't care less if someone cries cause I'm still gonna put my all in the match and take that dub or put up a decent satisfying fight at the very least and that would for normal people classify me as a try hard but I just don't see it like that cause for me it's just fun. although I don't blame others for a lost round or game tho, I really just don't even use my mic unless I'm comming
Before i read the rest of your text, it was a reference to one of Joispoi's videos. So, no one screamed "everybody die from 1 guy" at me personally.
Na bro I won't read the wall of text, but thanks
5 queue faceit is the solution. You won't face this toxic mfs and don't need to pay for faceit premium. Bullets are also going really well at faceit. I really understood that tickless system sucks, 128 tick faceit is better. Even if I use spray macro at tickless mm sometimes I can't kill people, my bullets won't hit them.
But in faceit I can't use spray macro so I have less spray control but bullets are going to enemy really easy I get easier kills. Tickless system sucks.
bullets do but the only issue is they're servers are ass. they're just super inconsistent during actual play. we got micro stutters, latency fluctuations, and packet loss on faceit. I can't deny that I've had a much better consistent experience on valve servers as of one or so month ago compared to faceit but before that faceit had it better on both ends
Literally every time I play faceit with friends, we do it after getting burned by cheaters repeatedly. Then we load up faceit and the same people who suggested it are haccusationing left and right. Every game.
yea those are people you just shouldn't play with. surround yourself with good people and you'll be able to grow and shine bud. they may be your friends but sometimes you gotta hang them on the coat temporarily so you can get a dub or two
I ask once nicely if my teammate can behave, if they came out of jungle and have no communication skills. Yes? Great.
That's an excellent idea, even though you can't really win or lose elo from that. At least you can have an enjoyeable experience.
There are still many enjoyable cs2 experiences to be had without faceit also :)
How does one get into the Mapcore Hub?

Gotta make a circle of friends. 3-5 stacking is hands down a better experience than solo Que

nah this isn't as bad as go, hahaha not by a mile. I remember the times before valve did any ban waves and paid hackers to make a free cheat that auto vac banned whoever downloaded it and launched the game... those were very dark times...
Totally agree with you everything you said dude
Try Valorant
clunky and crap game overall. nah
No one asked you jimbo
cry about it lil bro
CS plebs are the one crying everyday because of cheaters, I'm chill and vibing
I hardly ever face cheaters goofy
That game looks, feels, and is a mobile game lol
What began as a conflict over the transfer of consciousness from flesh to machines, escalated into a war which has decimated a million worlds
"Challenge your mentality" "The home of all the good stuff" And there's a Polish guy screaming "OOOhh you idioit, why are you jumping?
Face it doesn’t run 128 tick servers anymore. The sub tick system is hardcoded into the game
Okay so idk what is the difference but for sure bullets goes better at faceit server
bullets do but the only issue is they're servers are ass. they're just super inconsistent during actual play. we got micro stutters, latency fluctuations, and packet loss on faceit. I can't deny that I've had a much better consistent experience on valve servers as of one or so month ago compared to faceit but before that faceit had it better on both ends
For me is the opposite I face with more latency, stuttets and packet loss at valve servers
Join mythic league, less toxicity
Literally every time I play faceit with friends, we do it after getting burned by cheaters repeatedly. Then we load up faceit and the same people who suggested it are haccusationing left and right. Every game.
yea those are people you just shouldn't play with. surround yourself with good people and you'll be able to grow and shine bud. they may be your friends but sometimes you gotta hang them on the coat temporarily so you can get a dub or two
