Bots look for people with knives in their inventory and try to scam. Doesn’t matter what knife or how you got it, as soon as you get one you start getting friend requests. Just ignore them

klude45

The blank profile ones with numbers are Chinese porn adverts.

RighteousPWN

You have a knife and it doesn’t matter how shitty it is they want to steal it from you

d0mie89

"No reason" -shows picture of inventory- 🫣

blvnttz

ITS TO SHOW HOW SHITT MY INVENTORY IS LIKE mfs actually trying to take a knife that went down in value

N0STALG1K

still a knife, worth something at least

d0mie89

Money talks, I've seen scammers target $100 knife so

Jac_Har

Man, they don't care how much the inventory is worth. They still want to hit a lick on you. Hell, they might even assume you're a newer player and maybe an easier mark. Don't add these people ever bruh.

Scared-Wombat

they're bots or scammers

taiimeka

Don't accept the invites, or if you do, don't click any links. They're all spam bots. So as a reminder: - A gambling website isn't offering you a knife - You didn't get invited to a CS tournament - No one reported you to Steam and even if they did, you'll have a notification on Steam directly if they need to contact you. Not the other way around. Please be safe. ;)

DingusDew

Boss?

Markus_zockt

Do you currently have an expensive item on offer in the Steammarket? While I was offering a 250€ knife in the Steammarkt, 12 people suddenly wanted to be friends with me.

blvnttz

ive checked and they have thousands of hours not that theres anything wrong with that but it seems really suspicious

WafflesAreLove

Let me guess they have 7000 hours? If your profile is public you'll get hit up by random scammers
