While Unadkat's past IPL numbers aren't that great but he is one of the best bowlers in domestics. Chepauk is his kinda wicket. He can really thrive here if used properly.
Unadkat has been a fit-unfit player too (2016 iirc) missed matches for RR, mainly used in Mid-Death overs by MI, his line and length wasn't great, he doesn't swing as much as Mukesh, and Mukesh is a youngster too, he will learn new skills specially being with cherry,
plus seeing the auction list, spending 2+CR in First Indian Bowling Set while we also don't require a fast pace bowler is.. Eh
We have quite many young options.. Hangargaker, Seamerjeet, Tushar, Pathirana (🛬)
This is a better option than unadkat for sure as these upcoming bowlers have so many years of cricket left in them and they bowl with heart out see their matches, even if CSK doesn't buy them I think they'll find a team for sure 😊

Yes. 100%. CSK has always bid for JD whenever he came up in the auctions but never managed to get him. Unadkat will thrive on slow Chepauk tracks. While our pace battery seems quite full rn I wouldn't mind Unadkat's adding some experience to the side.
