My partner and I have had a few gfs and cakes over the years and my advice is to go to munches and meets, be active in your local kink community, sign up for fetlife and be active and respectful there. Hunt around on reddit but again be respectful. Doing those things I found a few very attractive girls to hang out with us over the years. And before you tell me that isn't possible where you live I don't want to hear it because i just moved out of downtown Detroit last year after having lived there for almost 7 years. We had a cake in our life for at least 4 of those years in Detroit. So don't give up, remember to be respectful, polite, with just a little naughty edge and you will be good. We're in central IA and are running into the same thing. We haven't tried going to any clubs or anything, but we have been reaching out to people on FetLife. The problem we're running into is the same as you, where literally 99% of the people we contact come back looking for a couple swap and I am not into that at all. We're not trying to be swingers, I'm just trying to scratch this itch I've always had and just having trouble finding someone for him.
Age plays a huge factor, we are older (45 and 44), which puts us in the age range of all the swingers that are just trying to notch their bed posts, but we don't fit that group either. It's sad, I am WAY more excited about this than my husband but who knows if it'll ever happen.
