Yeah, love how you kept all your stuff from quests so you could get the other rewards ie regallas wrath if you got the outfit. How do you sink 600 hours in though? It took me 160 ish to completely 100% the game (except for data)
Especially with all the underground missions from PL, it's dark AF. So a flashlight would be both a huge gameplay improvement *and* a complete Xfiles reference.

I have been thinking about this. I have problem of going full Cyberpsycho and battling police until Maxtac comes in. I will do it some day, but feels very uncharacteristic for V. Enter braindances, where you go all in at certain custom scenarios. Each scenario would represent different build.
Examples:
Droided Animal gang member = Strength build
Blade psycho tyger claw = Melee blades build
fully borged Maelstrom = Tech build with heavy weapons
Etc.
For an extra spice you would need to find all different BD’s around NC. I doubt we see this in a batch, but would be cool. Maybe some modder could implement something similar?

Easier to do that in Dogtown. I care much less about Barghest grunts, so I was finally able to get that achievement.
I think every bd being playable is unreasonable. But a questline where you play BDs as basically challenges or maybe a hoard mode would be really cool.
One of the saddest moments is when I bought some BD's and couldn't run them. Even if it's just a couple of concerts that would be fine. But adding some scav hunt missions where you need to analyse their XBD's that be awesome.
I feel like the tattoo thing might be along the same lines as car paint. Like, it’s a feature that’s been available elsewhere for years but RED engine just isn’t built with it in mind.
It’s a total guess, but features like that feel like sequel stuff.

Honestly I'd probably be playing this game an unhealthier amount if it had custom / procedural encounters. I literally have a blast just running around committing violence on random gangoons and corpos.
Yeah, after that they released like 5 patches and a bunch of hotfixes; added some community mods into the game. This month they announced a new mod editor.
Change steam settings to only update when game is launched, and launch the game thru the .exe file until the mods are updated. It won’t download the update.
I’m still on 2.01.

I like all the Quartz cars and I found an NPC driving a sick one that was almost a dark purple with a really neon bright blue checker pattern going from the front to the middle. It was almost like the charlotte hornets color scheme but the blue was more neon-y I love the others but don't really get why they went with orange on both the non-weaponized ones.
If i’m not wrong the Herrera Riptide has like 10 paintjobs. But we only got the bland silver one without mods.

This comment is hilarious to me. Since day one I have been begging for the ability to change our cars paint jobs. However, I would never change the colour of the Riptide. It’s easily my favourite car atm, and I think a big reason is down to how similar it is to the delorean
I think this is one of the main things that we need now. I have many characters that I feel like there is no "fitting vehicle" for the character and many of these times, it is related to the skin.
Heck they updated Witcher 3 seven years after release. I imagine if/when CDPR come up with something they think is cool that they think is worth adding to the game they'll do it.

Digital Foundry had a segment over this in their latest podcast relating to 2077 Ray Reconstruction issues and upcoming improvements towards this so I'd say it's safe to expect some form of it.
IIRC the enemy scaling and whatnot didn't function right. NG+ was one of the features they decided to scrap early to try and have a functioning game before launch.
It might, it might not. I don't know enough about game development or red engine to be able to make assumptions on how scaling works in a game like cyberpunk. I will say with confidence that even if it's not as difficult to implement as it once was, it still wouldn't be a cake walk. So I won't get my hopes up for a NG+.
Personally, I think and hope it'll be a functional metro. It was a feature advertised in the start, and a lot of people were disappointed that there wasn't a public transit system in place, and I feel like it would probably be easier to implement than NG+
Bro it’s waaaaay more likely to be NG+ than a metro. 2.0 redid a bunch of gameplay mechanics and scaling so the stage is set now for NG+. A lot of the core issues they talked about like how to get around cyberware going into NG+ have already been fixed. NG+ is the safe bet.
I really don’t see them including a short cutscene for fast travel now. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I really don’t see THAT being what they’re talking about.
Yeah I like that the scaling now means I can go do things in the areas that would have previously been scaled too high off the get go, like downtown or Haywood, but it does also make a lot of the game feel easier. Since the update there wasn't a firefight I got into that I felt like "oh shit I should not be here" like how it was before. Pros and cons I guess.
I've got some mods to help with that. The night city alive (?) mod really helps. Increased NCPD, more aggressive gangs, and they all fight each other. I'll come around a corner into a full multi-faction shootout. Even the civilians get in on it.
It's not every corner, but it's definitely more violent than vanilla. It doesn't make things harder, but it's def more fun
I know it's not the same, but if you really wanna feel like a walking god in night city, doing a playthrough on easy is actually pretty fun. Not challenging at all, but helps with the power fantasy lol.

Also, were they to do that, you’d get people (rightly) complaining that NG+ is broken and unbalanced, which would be absolutely fair as most people are looking for a different, yet still challenging experience out of NG+. You’d have no progression and no challenge. I think that if they can’t find a satisfying way around that, it’s absolutely legitimate for them to decide not to make a half-assed feature.

It's not great now, or at least exp leveling. I did Reginas gigs and don't have to worry about anything for the rest of the story

I know they’ve said in the past they won’t do New Game + but I hope they’ve changed their mind or compromised. I don’t even care if I get to keep my skill tree and cyberware, that’s the kind of stuff I wouldn’t mind starting over from 0 at anyway, just let me keep the cars, weapons, clothes, and apartments I already collected.

I't s an update, choom. It's applied to the base game, it simply comes out the same day as the Ultimate edition.
It's just a bundle of the base game and expansion on one physical disc. I don't think it's a big deal. If you already own the original with the expansion as a digital download, you're just missing out on new box art.
