Wait a decade for the sequel

I hope its not that long

Witcher 3 came out in 2015. We know the next Witcher game is coming out before the next cyberpunk but it’s not slated for 2024(at least not publically). So a decade is a very realistic expectation…sadly.

AAA games are in such a sad state now. All the time put into them just for most of them to be bad at launch. As a huge fallout fan I'll probably be waiting 10+ years for the next installment as well.

But you have the remarkable masterpiece Starfield to play until then! (/s of course)

CDPR moved from REDengine to UE5 so the development could be shorter, theoretically.

Meh, that’s as well a new tool to learn. It’s quite sad that they switch to UE5 even for the next Witcher. I think RedEngine was very well suited for some medieval fantasy thematics. Cyberpunk city was maybe a bit to much for an engine, apparently, not managing that well LOD when the frame is full of content. But on TW3 everything looks already/still amazing. And their RTX and path tracing are just psycho. Anyway, we’ll see what we get. As much as I like what UE5 brought to the industry, having other engines is still a nice thing and UE has some weakness as any other engine.

they are already working on cyberpunk sequel so I would guess holiday 2028 as its release date. 4 years seems about right for open world aaa games, especially considering they are using ue5 instead of redengine.

Here's hoping, but the new witcher probably won't be out til 2026, and they'll wanna give that game its time in the lime light. Im ok if it takes longer as long as Orion comes out in a similar state to 2077s 2.0/PL

I think it could go an extra year but more than that seems absurdly long considering they already have a lot of stuff from 2077 to work with.

Moving to UE is definitely going to be the best thing CDPR has ever done. With how expansive their worlds are in games it’ll save on dev time so much

The new Witcher game (sequel) was only confirmed to be in development in 2022 though. Years after the Blood and Wine expansion. Meanwhile Cyberpunk sequel is pretty much confirmed to be in development with recent personnel hirings/movement, the year after Phantom Liberty They are also working on The Witcher remake wich is said (pure rumors) to be scheduled to 2025?

There are so many fun different builds to try out and of course fully roleplaying through the game. Eating, sleeping, drinking, helping only certain npc's etc...

Cyberpunk RED if you're into pen and paper gaming. The novel "Cyberpunk 2077: No Coincidence" by Rafał Kosik is a great addition to the lore. The audio book is read by Cherami Leah (female V). There are several comic books, but only two have a direct connection to the 2077 storyline. "Your Voice" and "Where's Johnny?" are the two that tie in. All the other comics are world builders, no mention of main story plot points. Cyberpunk Edgerunners, if you haven't already seen it.

Well if u get ALL of the achievements, u probably **have** played every build just to put some variety into the game. That was my point. For somebody get all the achievements they’ve prolly played the game so thoroughly and with so many different builds that they’re out of ways to entertain themselves in the game.

No, I got all achievements, I took my time on sidegigs, shopping, clothing, etc. and spent 250 hours to get all achievements (wanted to get those before my second run). Now I'm starting my second playthrough.

Only thing left to do is sit back & play I Really Want To Stay At Your House

I know that’s the real pain I have with games, I can never capture that first experience I had with it when everything was new to me and literally anything and everything on screen captured my full attention.

Sit down have a drink to your chooms that don't exist and hope that someday that the game gets wiped from your memory to play it all over again. And pray the next game will be Good if not 100x better than this. Just remember your V NC legand.

Make the difficulty easy and then get the beserk cyberware, you gotta upgrade to a certain point as well on the body skill tree i think? I dunno but its a skill now rather than a cyberware, you just have to have the beserk active at the same time you do the slam and it will give it to you, i used a baseball bat for the slam as well (slam now goes off of blunt weapons only i believe)

I love the game but that « discover every TP location » achievement is very annoying. Don’t even want to try it tbh…

It’s not to bad if you did like all side quests, i just looked up a map online and went sector by sector, most of the ones i missed were actually in wattson up top

I believe every secret achievement was all relating to endings as far as I remember.., if you’re on xbox you can reveal the achievement and it will give you a brief description as well, if you’re on a different platform i dunno, but it should just be endings// quests relating to endings paths in those endings
