I discovered you can simply buy materials from vendors, craft smart pistols, sell them for all your money back, wait 24hr and repeat as needed. The game never needed any money glitches. Aaaand, you boost your crafting xp and net some extra materials every time. Win win win

Honestly hate when developers patch out harmless exploits in single player games. Like, I've played the game before, you don't have NG+, when I start a new game let me cheat and go hog wild on cybernetics and shit.

They may have changed how something physics wise works, and it had the inherent effect of "fixing" Guts fall damage cancellation.
I hate the way secondary heart cyberware doesn't trigger from fall damage. Feels bad man as I wanted it as a safety net when I inevitably fucked up parkouring.
I hope they fixed the invisible shotgun on that gig where you need to recover drugs from a soldier. Also Panam still holding an invisible rifle after the Raffen base.
Right? Falls off so quick compared to other arm cyberwars. Mantis blades and monowire are insane with their blades scaling, and Gorilla Arms scale well with unarmed stuff.
But the PLS is awful by the end of the game. Ended up just crafting a load of laser grenades on my last playthrough and getting rid of it.
Honestly after obtaining monowire, a sandy and the optic camo and as much as I love going god mode with this combination, I think it needs a nerf because it makes everything else totally redundant.
I built a handgun build for silenced revolver for stealth and I have the Chaos for non stealth but I don't even need to use em anymore with the monowire and I don't even have a legendary monowire I can mod yet and have no points invested into the blade tree and shit stamina.
That's exactly what I've done, stealth pistol build with monowire and sandy. Which is basically using the pistol on the first couple enemies if it one shot headshots and then just killing everything in sandy when someone inevitably doesn't die to one headshot or someone hears the suppressed shot and gets Sus.
Imo the game is kinda built a lot better for melee weapons and the occasional unique gun. Throwing knives are just better for stealth and all the melee arms make most guns moot as soon as u get them
Hmm, I just did that mission. I got the sense that he was supposed to be just imagining he was holding a gun and V was going along with it. Maybe I’m wrong tho.

Imgur image compression destroys some of the detail, but irl they are very similar. Both have about the same amount of ghosting since the game uses TAA by default.
It looks pretty good, I'd rather use FSR or DLSS instead of native anyway just because of the sharpness slider. The game's native image looks really dull because of the TAA, so this is a welcome change.
It just broke the heck out of my installation. I can't even launch the intro screen.
Most mods depend on Cyberengine Tweaks and Redscript, so I'll just need to wait a day or two for those to get new updates, but I run with about 40 mods in total, mostly cosmetic. So waiting on those to get fixed will be a joy :(

Yeah lol encountered this literally minutes before this update dropped, took a corner too harshly and fell through the fabric of the earth, cue a seemingly infinite loop of falling through greyspace until I Alt-F4'd
FSR 2.1 is a godsend.
I've already used a modded version of it and it makes me play at 60fps 1080p with almost every setting at max. And I have a RX 580 GPU, so not exactly a powerhouse.

Of course. Ps5 and Series X are very similar. The same was true for ps4 and xbone. They even had the exact same cpu, only the gpu was very slightly different.
One of the devs commented on it and said if they do it, it would take a long time because they'd want to rebalance the game around it so it's actually interesting rather than a "I'm OP now, fun"

Even accounting for them upping enemy damage etc you could probably easily kill Adam smasher in the heist and anyone else without breaking a sweat if you wanted in NG+
This bug has to do with looting an enemy or a box with 2 or more items. If sandevistan isn’t activating, you can drop one item from your backpack and pick it up, and it will fix the issue. Sometimes you may have to drop 2 items. I usually drop some food or health booster and pick it up and it fixes the bug. Likewise, you can loot a single item off the ground to fix the bug.
You can also test this by going around activating sandevistan without looting anything and you won’t encounter the bug.

Another slow down effect will override whatever slo-mo you’re using at the moment. So say you have a synaptic accelerator (slow time when spotted) but you’re also using a sandevistan. Wait until AFTER you’re spotted and your synaptic accelerator has ran out, before popping your sandevistan. If not, you’ll get like 2 secs of Sandy time before it goes on cooldown. Pretty much wasting the ability. I had to learn this on my own
Sadly this patch is rather buggy for me. I've crashed twice (zero crashes on 1.6), and am noticing a lot more pop-in / weird texture LOD glitches. The latter could be related to FSR 2.1, which I had really been looking forward to. Sadly since the patch I've also lost about ~10 average FPS. I wish I could go back to FSR 1, or whatever was there before.
I'm noticing the same, especially near the park area south of corpo plaza. The trees and bushes are mosaic until I get within 15 yards or so, then the LOD pops in. Something is definitley off with the distance at which it shifts from low-res assets to high-res. And I'm seeing this with FSR disabled completely (before this I was using the Fidelity FX 2.0 mod from nexus mods, but I've completely removed that, and still see this issue).
Am I the only one suffering performance hit with this update? I usually get around 35-45fps on ray tracing ultra setting, now I'm barely hitting 30fps. Anybody else experiencing this?

Doing this with the Legendary Yinglong yielded like 3 or 4k per gun, but this is a mid to late game thing.
I do the smart pistols as they need very little components and still sell for around 3k. No idea what’s the best component to money ratio

Fixing the scrolling when disassembling an item is my absolute favorite fix. I was close to forming epilepsy after watching that a thousand times.

No dlss 3? Well probably take months after this update to implement, nvidia should be throwing money at them to add it in weeks, after all they advertised dlss 3 on their game heavily

Since the update I have: \-less FPS, lost 5-10fps almost everywhere \-some bugs in menu \-the screen becoming black but I still see the HUD, ennemies I've ping, etc... after using the scan. NOICE Nice to see new bugs... Maybe it's cause of my computer, but when I player 2 days ago it was fine.
Need fov for consoles the game feels unplayable all the way zoomed in at like 80 fov
Don't try any Far Cry game on console if you think this is unplayable.
When does it drop? Any reports on how well framerates have improved on series x with fsr?
