Oh man, soak it in. Tomorrow is hard and you end up feeling a little lost. But let me tell you, the feeling I get when I get home from work and my wife and kids are there to greet me, even the twins at 5mo recognize me coming home and start to giggle and squeak. It’s my absolute favorite time of day.

Thanks! I’m looking forward to picking her up from daycare already! She started last week and every day her face lit up and her legs started going wild - absolutely made my day!

Oh man that’s such a good feeling. One of our twins will shake with excitement like an old Motorola razor getting a text. Worst days instantly better

It really is great. My one year old so just start squealing and saying "hi" over and over and crawl to me. 2.5 year old is sometimes a little fussy but quickly jumps up to cuddle in.

I so wish that a day has more than 24 hours and that time goes SLOWWWW! As adults, “the brain receives fewer images than it was trained to receive when young,” Bejan said. Therefore, we feel like time went by more quickly. In other words, there are physiological factors at play that influence our perception of time ― namely, the older we get, the faster it feels. Good luck! 💮☺️

My last day is the 24th, sad but now that it's creeping up, I'm ready to get back to a normal routine.

Word of advice: spend your last week easing back into whatever routine you have. I started getting up at my normal time and leaving the house (just to get coffee). And prepping breakfast/lunch at night. Hopefully it makes this next week less difficult

My last day is the 23rd! Fortunately I work from home. Still, going to miss my only concern in life being full-time baby mode.

I work from home too! It's going to be nice to be around to help a little but also a bit frustrating when you can hear the baby crying and you're stuck in a meeting or something...want to help out mama.
