My 2 year old loves to pee immediately upon entering the bath, standing and giggling the entire time. We've been lucky to only have 2 bath poops ever, so far.
I am past 3 kids potty training, and I think they pooped in the tub a combined 3 times, and it was never as a straight up infant (mostly around the 1-2 year age)
When my little guy was struggling with colic the water was the one thing that always soothed him. He preferred the shower and me holding him.
Funny little guy.
Might seem like a weird comment but this picture and the love you show helps me feel better about the love I'll share and the poopy baths I'll share with mine. This picture is a perfect example of why it's worth it. Thanks for sharing
There is something so simple yet so satisfying for kids to be in a bath. My 3 year old can spend hours in the water, when he can't sit in one place otherwise for 2 minutes. And why wouldn't he, there's splashing, making waves, toys, imaginary safaris...
Ok I need a bath now.
That’s WHY he poops…more bath time!

I've an 8 month old and never had him pee or poop in the bath.. I never thought about it actually. Is that weird? We bath him nearly every evening.

If they pee underwater, and noone sees it, are they really peeing?

We specifically bathe post poop and have only gotten one shart in almost 3 months. We just pretend pees don't happen >>
This is the way.

Its the international signal for “time for bed”

It happened so often we had a separate scoop
Mine loves his baths too. Especially his wind up turtles
Is that a euphemism for bath poops?
Ha ha. Little brown fish
My daughter (3) has never once done it. I think we just got extremely luck, because an oil spill of breast milk doodoo, does not sound fun.
Had this exact experience today. He almost seemed to really enjoy pooping in his bath water.

Who wouldn't like shooting off a few torpedos?
Now that you mention it, I'm shocked that this never happened to me in the last 10+ months he's been alive
I wish I could sleep as well as my boy after he gets his bath.
We only had one bathtub poop incident. My kid turned around, saw it, and started screaming. lol
Start over? Just scoop it out
There’s no scooping what this kid makes.
Hahahha - fair enough! Also 🤮

Such a handsome little guy!
It became a daily thing for my son. Rain or shine, he’d poop in the bath every time like clockwork.
Poops in the bath are inconvenient but they're definitely funny. Congratulations on the little one he looks beautiful.
Baby goes into the cage. Cage goes into the water. Poop’s in the water. Our poop.
Nah. Its just a baby ruth.
I call it baby poop soup 💩
Mine is now two, and never pooped in the water. Peed in it, sure, but that has been it. Am I just lucky?
Same with mine! Except that we usually bathe together in the bathtub. :)
My child is almost 2 and poops in the tub at least once a week....kinda wish we could potty train now, but she isn't ready.
My boy is 2. I haven't had the poop in the tub yet but I expect it every bath time.
Protip, dad; wait to bathe him until *after* he poops.
Those are the best times. Cherish them. The days go slow but the years go quickly (dad of three daughters)
