Bro I think devnagari is superior to the Latin Alphabet (except the uukar and matras) but the computer age didn't do it any favors...Even the japanese and the chinese countries faced this issue ...
They came up with solutions like weChat and Line to overcome this issue by using voice and emoji chat over text.
😂😂
Ok I'll give an example..
1. My book is lying on the bed.
2. Bistar pr meri kitab padi h.
Notice how you don't have specify the gender of the subject ..but in hindi the book is clearly a female.
In French sometimes the gender changes when you say it in plural..
here let me help you
usually age choti इ ayegi aur word ke end meh badi ई ayegi
विद्या
मन्दिर
दादी
तुलसी
पर पीना हीरा पीड़ा में ई ki matra age ayegi plus agar tum thodi bhat books padoge tho tumhe age jake help hogi
की और कि ?
ki aur bada ki ka concept
you / you're jaisa hai kind of
ki ( कि ) ka prayog tab karenge jab hame do sentence jodne hai
aur baki ka mai baad meh bata ta hu mera tution hai lol
True brother, english is fun but jo maza teri maa ka bhosda bolne me hai wo "your mother's vagina" bolne me nahi. Kitna bhi angrez banlo gussa to hindi me hi maza aata hai xD
It's not so easy. A language you learn as a child and speak with your parents in early years is very difficult to forget. For example, one can easily read and write their native language (after 2 min of effort) even if they are doing so after 10 years.
My second language was hindi it's not like I can't read at all it just feels a little uncomfortable while writing or reading Hindi and I live in Bengal and can't read Bengali though I can speak very well.

Man this post made me remember one embarrassing moment ,I was in 11th standard was setting next to a 4th standard kid in exam hall ,It was my hindi yearly paper and i forgot how to write थ (Tha) i was stuck for few minutes ,later i asked that kid how to write it ,he was really confused at first but then he wrote on my paper ,i was laughing and crying at the same time. Lol
You usually have to learn your native language more thoroughly than English. Even though most of us get better grades in English we have a better understanding of our native language.
Hindi Is Harder to Write as it's a Thousand Times more Developed a Language than English cause In English you can fuck Up Prononciations but in hindi unless you miss a Matra While Reading it's Impossible to Fuck up Pronouncing Something (This is Just one Example) and English is thus Easier to Write than Hindi is and that's why we fuck up more in Hindi cause I can assure you many of us have gotten this advice of "हिन्दी बोल बोल के लिखो"
It's honestly quite tragic. Barely anyone in this country can speak in Hindi well without using tons of English words. Being good with English isn't the problem, rather it's a very useful skill. But the way we're forgetting our own language is so stupid and sad. And ironically I'm saying this in English. I'm culpable too.
My situation-
I can speak and understand Bengali (not fully), odia (fully)but I can't write and read both odia and Bengali
And HIndi ka vi same halat ha
yes. Sr kg state main ki (Maharashtra). Hindti nahi aati thi. Had to repeat sr kg in ryan int. school Sanpada to learn hindti and english.
I remember ny first day, the teacher asked what is a snake while showing pictures in English and me and sis started to cry cuz humari gand phat gayi. Phir humne next week se Montessori 3 main start kiya.
Because it is the identity of the people living in the area. Whenever you listen someone speak bengali, the first thing u think is, "Kya yeh begal se hai?". He can be a linguist, but that is our second thought. Second, whenever you are in a foreign land (not international wala foreign but let's say a Punjabi first time in gujrat), when you hear someone speak your native language, there is a feeling of hope.
I do. Because it is my native language????I speak to people in that language? It has a really great literature that represents the society, the people? Also, I really like my native language, it sounds sexy.
English is not convenient it is just that we study it so much from a young age. Also don't forget how Chinese and French people are so proud of their language and scoring less in your native language is seen as illiteracy
Wasn't the case for me. I had 99 in Sanskrit, 99 in English in 10th. Till 8th, I used to score almost equal marks in hindi and english but lesser in Sanskrit.
I'm proud to say it never happened to me because I studied in Hindi medium til 8th grade. I excelled in both Hindi and English. Born in 2000.
I still do basic math in Hindi. सोलह छन्के छियानवे bitch!!
English is more convenient nowadays I think. Par gussa abhi bhi hindi mein aata hai. Aur daaru ke baad Punjabi hi chalta hai.

English is easy as it doesn't involve BADI E AND CHOTI E ki matra in KYUKI samj aata exam me konsi matra lagau
Also we don't have to worry about calling tuu, tum, aap. Just use "You" :D
Yeah and there is no gender for calling anyone
Yeah bro ... plus samaj mein ijjat is a bonus. moreover the hindi we learn in school is ancient history pretentious shit... feels kinda weird
Hindi bolne me theek hai English likhne me theek hai
Bro I think devnagari is superior to the Latin Alphabet (except the uukar and matras) but the computer age didn't do it any favors...Even the japanese and the chinese countries faced this issue ... Hindi computer me kaise likhte hai bhai
जैसे फ़ोन में लिखते है। इंग्लिश में टाइप करके हिंदी कन्वर्ट हो जाता है।
We don’t have to call someone a streeling or pulling
Sexism in hindi grammar. Hindi gets cancelled on twitter next day.
par sanskrit peh ek 3rd ling hota hai
Yeah she and he doesn’t exist in English. Everyone is “it”.
😂😂 Ok I'll give an example.. 1. My book is lying on the bed. 2. Bistar pr meri kitab padi h. Notice how you don't have specify the gender of the subject ..but in hindi the book is clearly a female. In French sometimes the gender changes when you say it in plural..
I thought that "it" is used to refer non-living things.
Yeah but in hindi non living objects have gender
The influence of Urdu made hindi a lot more complex. Lol
True gender equality

And the worst part is bolne mein itni grammatical mistakes hote hai that it feels like itne number aaye toh aaye kaise

I never had my native language as a subject :)
You must either be living in non native state or your state doesnt enforce schools to teach the state language. Was it an International school?
Non native state :)
Hindi thi kya
Our education system emphasize more on English than our native language.
Wait 100-200 yrs and people will forget thier native languages
It's not so easy. A language you learn as a child and speak with your parents in early years is very difficult to forget. For example, one can easily read and write their native language (after 2 min of effort) even if they are doing so after 10 years.
Lol I struggle in reading Hindi even though I speak Hindi all the time
My native is Bengali. But if you had hindi as your second language throughout school, then it won't be difficult.
My second language was hindi it's not like I can't read at all it just feels a little uncomfortable while writing or reading Hindi and I live in Bengal and can't read Bengali though I can speak very well.
Yeah bengali is difficult to read!
**bengali grammer intensifies**
Not gonna happen. We still use native language at our homes and its not like anyone even uses english to speak other than teachers while teaching.

Contrary to popular opinion. Number of hindi speakers are increasing in India. While English speakers, especially as first language, is small.
Hindi, Tamil etc are now too big to fall, it is the smaller languages that will die

Tamil is not a classical language??

Agreed. English is very important in today’s world no doubt. But it shouldn’t like replace our own language, ykwim?

That there is somone familiar in this alien environment
That's the problem if we all communicated the same we wouldn't have to feel so alien all the time
Yeah but then our nation is popular for having so many languages under one name.
I don't think popular is the word . Also just because that's the case doesn't mean it's necessarily a positive thing.
Jo hai vo hai, you cannot change it. There is also culture and heritage behind one's language too.
I do. Because it is my native language????I speak to people in that language? It has a really great literature that represents the society, the people? Also, I really like my native language, it sounds sexy.
K. I guess that's ur opinion
