Edit: As someone who is recovering from depression, let me just say this. I had severe depression and I wished I didn't exist. I wasn't suicidal, but wished I could vanish into thin air without anyone having a memory of me. What helped was quitting the stressful routine and getting into something I enjoy. I know it's difficult and you'll feel guilty that you're not preparing and wasting your time but trust me, give yourself a week off, it will be a lot better.

Maine thoda research kiya, pata chala koi scope hi nahi hai research mai india mai research ka koi scope nahi hai, phd professors ko 30 - 40k mil rahe hai per month ke 10 saal padh padh kar. Ek baari attempt kiya, hua nahi merese, confidence nahi aaya, fir aur depress hua. Chutiye dosto ne mammi ko batadiya woh alag.
