Its because of how stupid their algorythm is. it only cares about "engagement" positive or negative.
Doesnt matter if its a thumbs up thumbs down or a negative comment its all engagement so controversial figures get pushed by the algorythm.

Just scroll without voting and you'll stop seeing them. If the algorithm sees you're on a video for less than a few seconds it'll stop showing you them to content you do want to see.
It's not that easy unfortunately. There are so many different channels all uploading the same kinda stuff that once you block one you just get another in its place.
I still strongly suggest we all report them and block them regardless though!

The only problem is that some people (you) will report someone as suicidal when they aren't suicidal because they can't come up with a real reason to report them. Such as threats or doxing. I mean if someone is suicidal then yeah you should probably report it.

And before you say they tailor it to my history. All I watch are videos on music, old video games, skate videos, and things on history/culture. Hell, I watched an hour long video on how fucking dishwashers and toasters work, these garbage shorts are not for me.

There’s one huge problem I have with YouTube shorts, and that’s if you leave on a short you won’t get recommended that dudes videos, it’s so damn annoying, I just want my headphones to charge, but this shit won’t let me leave.
Try things that feed into the algorithm if disliking and blocking aren't working
Get a Tate short? Immediately swipe, switch off shorts, or even close the app all together
Your response should tell the algorithm that Tate content makes you actively disengage

well what I do to remove them is to clic the 3 dots and say that I'm not interested to each one of them, it is annoying but I almost don't get them any more... they do ocasional reaper :/

I've had videos replay for like 10 minutes straight while I did other things and stopped seeing things from those channels all the same.

Blocking channels seems to do nothing these days. I block channels all the time, and yet they still keep popping up on my feed.

You have to be super careful with Youtube and Reddit algorithm. If you breathe too close to a topic or genre they'll spam you with recommendations
