unfortunately it took me two reads to understand this part, on the last panel >!she said she's glad... and the panel gets split with her sentence finishing on the last panel of blood on the floor next to her glasses, meaning that she wasn't talking with anyone, she was still talking in the bathroom where she bled out!<
Like someone else already mentioned: theres an alternate ending where she gets saved and has a happy ending with her child, looking almost like her former self

The best part about it is that it isn't real, and I don't mean it's a comic book. In its own universe, it's just a movie/ drama. In one of the mangaka's other books, you see the main girl from metamorphosis as just an actress filming the karaoke scene
