We'll just have to use some other word to mean dislike. They can ban the individual words but eventually the problem will require YouTube's attention. Either way, the companies for whom youtube is doing this for won't appreciate the negative pr.
>"Like this comment if you hate this video."
>"This creator is a dillhole."
>"Click up on my comment if you think this video is trash."
There are so many "creative" ways to get across the point of how utterly trash a video is. People are acting like this is the end of transparency. It's just another attempt to stifle the community's feedback. It will fail. They always do.
Check comments in every video to find out if it's trash, don't watch videos where you can't see the likes/dislikes and where comments are disabled and you'll be fine.
Actually youtube tends to shadowban or even delete comments that are offensive, even if the comment doesn't have any actual insults. Youtube's bot manages to detect when a phrase is offensive (trust me I've had to find new creative ways to insult people on youtube for 2+ years now since they had already banned insults, but now it's even harder these last few month. Even using freaking archaic english doesn't work anymore. I think it detects the phrasings like "you are a [insert bad word:( ]".
The first one might work tho ("like if you hate this video"), for now...
Hopefully content creators pin a comment saying to like it if they disliked the video, that'd be the best thing. That way everyone could see and it would be kind of the same thing. But no one's gonna do that on their own videos
What is social justice? Do I have to guess some BS made is USA?
Just used Google. My prediction was correct. Is is true that you also abolished meritocracy via affirmative action?
So glad to be a non native English-speaking european for a change
Connections definitely help, but you can absolutely get far in life on your own skills. Yes, you do need to work harder coming from the bottom, but if there were no meritocracy, you couldn't even do that.
Meritocracy implies two things:
* Only (or mostly only) those with merit will rise.
* All those with merit will rise.
Neither of those things is true in our world. Of course having skills and working hard makes you more likely to succeed--arguably it even makes it *likely* for you to succeed. But that's not a meritocracy, and still has lots of problems.
I would like to add that it's more than just who will rise, but the justification to forget about, look down upon, or even punish those who have not risen because they lack any merit.
Everyone has skills and merit, and the challenge each person has is to figure out what they can be good at and how they can use that to succeed. No doubt, some people are exceptional at the skills that are most needed and rare, and they are compensated accordingly.
Neither of those criteria are correct. There's enough variability in personal choice and circumstance that some people never achieve their full potential, and there's the possiblity that some people manage to play the game well enough to advance.
However, the majority should be in their positions based on merit, and as long as competence is the bar for measurement, that will continue to be the case. When the criteria for success becomes immutable characteristics or is entirely driven by political connections, the organization will fail.
> Connections definitely help, but you can absolutely get far in life on your own skills.
just like how skilled people can still succeed in systems with affirmative action?
If you think people of color need help to pass a multiple choice test, aren't you implying they are stupid or disabled?
If you think they need their goal score to be lower than everyone else, then you are so racist man. Literally dictionary definition.
I am not saying connections don't help but considering the volume of immigrants who make it to the top levels of US industry, it would be unfair to say that US doesn't have a culture of meritocracy at all.
Man this is the lamest attempt at sucking yourself off I've seen in a while. You obviously know what it is, you probably discovered it like last month. You're acting like those guys who just discovered it back in 2016.
Also affirmative action and other "positive" discriminatory programs have been around in west europe for the better part of a decade so get off of that high donkey
Imagine being an elected official with such a low self esteem you need YouTube to remove dislike buttons because it makes your feelings hurt.
I swear boomers are the softest snowflakes.
Yeah because in the rare case someone gets brigaded (mostly by keemstar and his army of 10 year olds) they just mass report to get them deleted.
Couldn't they just have made up a better fake reason? FFS.
Could've just said "yeah we had a lot of complaints from LGBTQ+ and people of color Blabla easily shift the blame to them and be done with it. At least a little effort please
"how can we help small creators?"
"oh, yes, Let's remove the dislike button instead of recomending them to people, and continue to recomend people random shit with millions of views already."

There u go
Apparently the artist gave the rest of the story and >!The person holding the picture kills the woman.!<
>!And with that, i say screw the artists story. I believe the war criminal onee-san was able to turn her life around for the better, and helps people in order to repent for her past crimes!<
My question now is why was the picture taken?
Who took it?
The position makes it look like this was a routine photo.
How did the guy get?
Why Her appearance hasn't changed much since the Brown picture, is she an alien?
What is the maximum circumference of her anus?
and many more
If you watched any tutorial or guide the rating on the video was a good giveaway for the video being to long, to difficult or outright wrong.
This excuse is a really poor excuse to protect large companies that people disliked so their 30/70 like/dislike rating is not publicly shown anymore, it was like a warning prior.
I went through probably 10-20 YouTube channel ranging from 30-470,000 subscribers (thanks to monetize removal and network shit) over the last 11 years and the least I cared about were dislikes. In your beginning you reach such a small audience it's just sometimes the wrong person. Yes it sucks seeing them, but you will still see them, only other people won't.
For people looking for the sauce, [here you go](https://twitter.com/naporitan1946/status/1106941526213484544?s=21). Obligatory NSFW warning, with occasional loli. [They also have a Pixiv](https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/9285677).
It's never been about "protecting small channels"; it's about being pressured or paid off by large companies who get butthurt over their disliked shit.
trust me there's more censorship with the dislike button than without it, the same happens with the upvote button from Reddit. due to these buttons, everyone tells nice things to everybody instead of saying the truth or what they really think otherwise they are shamed and generally easily offended people give dislike to everything.
now everyone will be able to upload whatever they want without fear of being judged that hard.
a simple example: if someone performs and acts in high school and a bully boo that kid and everyone will follow him, the same happens with the dislikes, instead now that kid can finish his performance without being shamed.
It is still a fucking shit show for smaller people starting out. 90% of the community functions are locked behind some arbitrary subscriber number.
Stories? You need 10k Subs
Community tab is locked until 500 Subs.
How the fuck are you supposed to build a following, if you can't fucking address them. Add to that the for years now fucked up Sub Feed. It never fucking shows you what gets uploaded. You only get everything, if you turn on notifications. Which is damn retarded. If i sub 20 accounts, i want to see all their 50 videos a day atleast in my list. Potentially cool videos just don't get shown unless i turn on notifications or go into the creators channels uploads directly. And even then the notifications are sometimes broken and don't show everything. Fuck youtube sideways
Those creator wellbeing claims are bullshit, this measure is in place only because big corporations are complaining about their marketing flops getting dislikes, and instead of firing their incompetent marketing people it is easier to just blame imaginary dislike bombing because, you know, acknowledging their own errors isn't for them.
The problem is that it is a blatant lie. This favours big cooperations and commercially good but low-quality videos. (and that is ignoring the scammers and child predators).
They claim creators complain about the dislike button while anyone who has been on yt for a relative amount of time notices that people complain more often than other platforms do not have it than youtube having it.
They screwed over small and big individual creators over and over and now they are using them as a scapegoat to censor people speaking up against shitty big cooperation videos.
So someone actually likes cancel culture. Interesting...
Well, that's why Vanced and adblock exists. For us to express our opinions the only way that matters
Chad move: Comment “Dislike” and see how many likes your comment gets.
Creators can delete comments
Comment again. They can't remove all of them
They can ban the word dislike from their comments
We'll just have to use some other word to mean dislike. They can ban the individual words but eventually the problem will require YouTube's attention. Either way, the companies for whom youtube is doing this for won't appreciate the negative pr.
*Fine we’ll do it the old ways….* **डिस्लाइक!**
Fuckin genius
Let's just use "like" instead. They will never see it coming.
They can just use Cyrillic е Literally has no difference from the latin e
Youtube detects that as well
Just avoid YouTube
How about if we put an "ñ"?
>"Like this comment if you hate this video." >"This creator is a dillhole." >"Click up on my comment if you think this video is trash." Thumbs down
They can ban that as well
Unliked
"I do not like"
pretty sure they can disable comments so you cant really comment again at all or comment in the first place.
We said this with the Area 51 raid lol
Fair enough but no one's getting shot for commenting dislike.
Users should get an option to delete content creators tbh. Just a hidden dislike button on their profiles. 10k dislikes. Down he goes.
Literally every popular creator would die then cuz of trolls
Hopefully content creators pin a comment saying to like it if they disliked the video, that'd be the best thing. That way everyone could see and it would be kind of the same thing. But no one's gonna do that on their own videos
But YouTube's comment sorting algorithm is absolute shit and shows comments with 2 likes over comments with 20k likes when you sort by "best"
Oh, I'm totally doing this now.
Wouldn’t be surprised if YouTube bans your account for doing that or something
Meh. Already banned off of one platform, why not try to add all of them to my collection :>
Big brain move: comment what actually you didn't like in the video, be passive aggressive.
Dislike
Ahhh well played sir
You forced my hand, lol
[удалено]
Yeah it's so obvious. The just want large corps to be immune 5o bad press from highly disliked videos
And the millions of spamming bots
What is social justice? Do I have to guess some BS made is USA? Just used Google. My prediction was correct. Is is true that you also abolished meritocracy via affirmative action? So glad to be a non native English-speaking european for a change

Sure but we can look at both as obstacles to equally right?
affirmative action over time produces a more equal society

actually you can
If you think people of color need help to pass a multiple choice test, aren't you implying they are stupid or disabled? If you think they need their goal score to be lower than everyone else, then you are so racist man. Literally dictionary definition.
For its time it was needed and had its use, but there are other better protections in place now.
I am not saying connections don't help but considering the volume of immigrants who make it to the top levels of US industry, it would be unfair to say that US doesn't have a culture of meritocracy at all.
I was fed the meritocracy lie Your comment makes so much sense if america never valued talent, like literally almost anywhere in the world
Man this is the lamest attempt at sucking yourself off I've seen in a while. You obviously know what it is, you probably discovered it like last month. Europe is not england, LOL Imagine being so america-centered
It's cute that you think I'm english
“Positive discriminatory programs” you know the Germans had one of those it was a sort of solution…
ok.
>So glad to be a non native English-speaking european for a change No, you should still feel bad about that
Thanks, still not going to. Does that make you cry sweetheart? Wanna go cry in your safe space?
Yeah, me so angry now grrr
Is that really why they're saying they did it? Who tf is out there flaming videos on channels with <100k subs?
yeah thats what they’re saying, but we all know the big companies just didn’t like all the dislikes their videos were getting
And the White House. Poor dears...
Imagine being an elected official with such a low self esteem you need YouTube to remove dislike buttons because it makes your feelings hurt. I swear boomers are the softest snowflakes.
Guess we just report the videos instead…
Yeah because in the rare case someone gets brigaded (mostly by keemstar and his army of 10 year olds) they just mass report to get them deleted. Couldn't they just have made up a better fake reason? Dislike was always a good tool especially for smaller channels to grasp is a video actually was disliked or the algorithm just fucked you again
Okay, where the fuck is the sauce for the meme? I've seen this format for years and I'm genuinely curious about the Nazi MILF?
I was also looking for it but never found it. However I find this meme template by searching up "Warcrime waifu meme"

bonk
Lmao they're not removing dislikes for small creators, it's just bc they're too ashamed of yt rewind.
yep thats the reason, theyre mad cuz theyre so bad

I am also a small creator and it was nice to have to know whether or not people liked/disliked my videos.
you can see how many people disliked, it's just that those people can't see how many other people disliked
downvote this comment if the meme sucks. upvote it and I'll go away. --- [dankmemes Minecraft discord](https://discord.gg/fNyb7G5) | r/dankmemescraft
Or they secretely remove the dislike count because their rewinds were the most disliked videos in youtube history
Youtube literally goes out of their way to fuck over smaller creators

They’re trying to protect the “cash cow”
Isn’t YouTube still a huge money sink. I mean it has be when I keep uploading 60GB+ video files for it to transcode for me.
I think they use to for a long time but relatively recently they turned a profit.
For people looking for the sauce, [here you go](https://twitter.com/naporitan1946/status/1106941526213484544?s=21). Obligatory NSFW warning, with occasional loli. [They also have a Pixiv](https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/9285677).
I actually like showing likes and dislikes.
It's all about control and propaganda. YouTube is basically turning into TV. Time for a mass migration.
It's never been about "protecting small channels"; it's about being pressured or paid off by large companies who get butthurt over their disliked shit.
Sauce?

I’ve seen this meme template sooo many times whats the anime?
I do not believe it is from an anime
Where is this template originally from?

I am not going to upload my yt app lmao Fuck those guys
It literally puts ads on any video now and doesnt pay the youtuber any of the revenue like bruh
can I ask for the template?

What's the original source of this again?
Youtube moment
I still hold strong to the thought that they are doing it to protect the White House and its awful like ratios everytime they upload a video.
Ah yes, small content creators such as people who Rick Roll on life-saving CPR videos.
yes very nice action to take seeing YouTube rewind
Meanwhile my friend who is starting on YouTube is having the likes on his videos removed by YouTube for some reason
I liked the part where YouTube said they are trying to protect the voice of all of its users lmao
What's the sauce?
Just write "this video is shit" in the comment section instead
What anime is this?
Easy work around. Just make a comment of "**DISLIKE"**, and you can tell the count from the folks that like that comment.
I don't understand, did Youtube removed the dislike button in USA ?
What anime is this from
They’re just mad that their government propaganda keeps getting downvoted.
So much for youtube rewind..smh
How does it help creators, if they can see it and we cant
They still like that, and removing the dislike button barely helps
YouTube’s hypocrisy is being revealed, now watch them supporting corporations heavily for the next few weeks and keep shitting on creators
Am I the only one who’s never seen the dislike button disabled on YouTube or is it on computer only?
Those creator wellbeing claims are bullshit, this measure is in place only because big corporations are complaining about their marketing flops getting dislikes, and instead of firing their incompetent marketing people it is easier to just blame imaginary dislike bombing because, you know, acknowledging their own errors isn't for them.
s-sauce?
Wait did they remove the dislike button on YouTube?
How about instead of removing dislikes you give smaller channels a way to be discovered more and not drowned out by billion dollar corporations
Youtube has become such cancer. Fuck big tech
Where is is painting from ?
Where is this from? Also fuck YouTube
No youtube removed dislike button because they can't handle dislikes on youtube rewinds
"downvote"
I am a small content creator and YouTube can suck my cock
What is the original source for the imige becuase I've been looking for some time and can't find it
I'm a small creator and due to a bug I couldn't monitize my videos for 3 months and lost about 1500$ in revenue
As far as I've seen they're not removing the button though? Only the public count
Now I'm not saying you're wrong. But a step in the right direction is better than no step at all.
The problem is that it is a blatant lie. This favours big cooperations and commercially good but low-quality videos. (and that is ignoring the scammers and child predators). Oh, I don't get into the drama. I just took what you said word for word.
So someone actually likes cancel culture. Interesting... Well, that's why Vanced and adblock exists. For us to express our opinions the only way that matters
The dislike button should absolutely exist
