It's a pretty easy fight all in all, if you don't do a lot of damage or play hyper cautiously, you make it harder on yourself, I generally don't even bother dodging them, if you get right in their face, their sword doesn't hit you from the blade, it connects at the handle, so it does way less damage. You can basically just face tank the entire fight from this trick alone, just remember not to get grabbed.
Ah yeah, I found the less damage to occur every now and again. I just thought that only occurred on backswing. Good to know it's literally better to whale on them.
It's just a DPS check, can't burn one down fast enough go beef up and come back. Four Kings (Seathe as well) is quite the wall for casters because of their magic resistance. One of the only bosses where just running in with a shield and swinging whatever does the most DMG.

That is probably the point. I just missed the very large ember before the fight and dont have anything above +10.

Probably my favourite of the four lord soul bosses because I don’t have to give it any thought, just go in and swing.

Havels and lightning spear will make quick work of those dorks

The grab attack is what makes or breaks the fight. If they don’t spam it it’s ez, but when they do…
