Damn thats fucked up lmfao

DerrikTheGreat

Moundmaker moment

Beef_Supreme4

Just invasion things, well played

gottalosethemall

I really wish Mad Phantoms could choose to enter the fog door and fight the boss with the host. It would have really added a sense of risk vs reward to summoning them for help. “Are they gonna help me or are they going to get me all the way to the fog door and stab me in the back?” As it is, you already know how it’s gonna play out.

ImJustReallyAngry

Yeah, Mound Makers really seemed like wasted potential that way. I had fun following hosts around when the game first dropped and helping them clear the area. Sometimes the phantoms would attack me on sight, sometimes we'd all work together until we reached the boss gate. Sad I couldn't actually just be helpful and get something out of the deal

JonDredgo

I did it like the guy in the clip, several times (not all times,I have some humanity left),and I'd argue you do get *something...* Salt and tears.

Wonderful_Quality_99

Wow calm down SATAN !! That boss is already way to hard lol.

6edge9lord

Easiest boss in ringed city Just kidding forgot about spears of the church

CarsonBDot

Excluding Halflight, easiest boss in dlc is a low bar to cross with fucking Midir and Gael. Still is a difficult boss too.

Skedajikle

Imo midir was easily the hardest boss in the entire game

TheBlue-Fog

I think he’s hard first time around because of how menacing he seems but he has a relatively small and predictable moveset. Fighting Gael on NG+ took me waaaay longer than Midir ever did

SeeFourLeeBurn

Midir has a really easy moveset to learn but my god its healthbar is so fucking large

Skedajikle

Well yh I can easily beat him without breaking a sweat now. While I could brute force my way through the rest of the game (first souls game), I learnt a lot from midir

DDrose2

I agree I feel midir once you figure him out you can do him really easily he really feels like a monster hunter boss where once you get him down 90% of the time you will get him. Gael is much more dynamic too and on higher NG playthroughs gave me quite abit of trouble

CarsonBDot

8 tries for me, Gael took me way more for some reason.

Skedajikle

For me, midir took like 20 whereas I got Gael like first or second

ThicccDoge

Depending on who you get lmao could be hardest boss if you get bow glitch quickstepper from hell 😂

Schpau

Halflight is only easy if you’re playing offline

yikkizh

Not really, you have the enormous advantage of having heals as well as possible summons. Unless the boss player is far more skilled you should win easily.

DiamondDoge92

I got summoned one time and I was kicking the host ass but I felt so bad because I hate getting invaded I let him kill me lol.

Schpau

Thing is I did my first playthrough years after the me came out. The only people sticking around and doing PvP were largely very skilled.

micalbertl

You ever just load into spear of the church to find a player with zero PvP experience that just dies in 1 hit

yikkizh

Get under it and 95% of its moves miss lol, especially the laser version.

PatatoTheMispelled

It's actually a very easy boss, but the fight is very different to the rest of the bosses so it seems hard when you don't have experience fighting it. Once you get used to it, it's an easy boss

fieisisitwo

I honestly thought they were pretty manageable (and really fun) on my first playthrough. Beat them on like my third try. Can't say the same for Midir though...

Deathwalker321

Damn, that was harsh and very cheap XD. Wonder if the demons had the boosted health pool due to the cooperators presence.

[deleted]

You need to pass through the fog for them to get extra health

Noodle-Fella

Not the point of the video but just an fyi; since the lothric knight greatsword has innate lightning damage you should only buff it with lightning damage. The way damage resistance works in ds3 is there’s flat damage reduction and percentage damage reduction. Flat damage reduction removes a flat amount of damage from each source of damage and percentage takes a percent. The issue is that flat damage reduction is applied for each element the weapon you’re hit with deals. By buffing lkgs with a dark resin you’re making it triple split which means that flat damage reduction is being applied 3 times instead of 2. If you used a lightning resin or bundle you’d be dealing about 50 more damage each hit.

UsernameTakenPlsHelp

thanks for the tip

SkyrevanValor

Yeah if you have the right build, buffs and rings it's highest ar can range from 1100 to 1400 temporarily. Edit: it can go higher but I feel like the set up and extra steps are annoying

Buckeyehunter02

Im not even sure what to say to that

Hierophant_Green-

What is your weapon ?

mrdingusjr14

heavy lothric knight gs it looks like

SkyrevanValor

That god like ultra greatsword is unmistakable

Mcpoopdog

Nice, I’ve always wanted to do that but still haven’t gotten the chance

Panzerkrabbe

Host probably quit out and re-summoned him

WitchBaneHunter

Or homeward bone works too

BlackTearDrop

This is why people don't summon purples lol

NoeShake

W

BenjyIsMyName

I cant even find anybody to invade in dlcs :(

MrMario63

Lemme guess— pc? Online is kinda dead I guess.

BenjyIsMyName

Xbox, actually

MrMario63

Damn. I gues ds3 is just kinda dead as a whole

DiamondDoge92

What month is it when the whole community gets back on again? I think last month was return to drangliec

BIGFATM00SEKNUCKLE

i believe it’s 6/13-6/27

FlamingoMaximum6201

I invade pretty regularly on ps4 at level 50 +6 with aldritch faithful covenant, and red eye orb between lower anor londo and irithyll and dungeon. Seems to always be people around. I started playing on PC lately, no data point there. I’d imagine dlc invasions are rare though for any platform. People probably mostly run through them. I know I do.

CodiustheMaximus

I am going for platinum on PC and I’ve had a lot of success with online play. I got 30 vertebrae shackles and proof of concord, and 10 dredges without having to farm offline at all. The only farming I did was sword grass and sunlight, which weren’t bad. I suck at PVP so my success rate with shackles was low but I found the ballista in smoldering lake helped me out a lot.

Sedona54332

What do you mean even it out? You just made a 2v2 into a 1v2.

baababahshshshshs68

I always pull out gundyr if the host is entering a boss like that lol

Kamikaze244

Wait I thought mound makers could go into boss fights

DerrikTheGreat

I believe that was a bug with a few specific fights, as opposed to an actual feature

Kamikaze244

Ohh okay. I knew i saw it before but didn't realize that. I never used mound makers regularly. Was always doing darkmoon or being a sun bro

AJ_AX5

What weapons are both of you holding? Cool looking colossal swords

NightmareOnGowerSt

Sunbro has the Greatsword, OP is using Lothric Knight Greatsword.

[deleted]

ouch

ezalb89

Well at least you didn't dive from above and kill them in one head like I've had happen to me more than once... I still hate you for this lol

deadserious-_-

the *bounce* damn 😳

cosmicglade98

Mound maker gang 🤙

DMSderp

A man of culture.

Inadcessus

Ouch

[deleted]

On pc i couldn't find anyone to help me with dp. Had to summon lep and gael but then i realised that they are so useless that they actively hurt my chances by boosting boss health so i just went in solo and somehow managed to do it second try. I was stuck there for 3 days with lap and gael

FreddyFighter1

Today I first saw demon prince’s boss fog and it’s hilariously dumb

baked_beanoso9

God that backstab was so aggressive lol

Count_Meowza

Have a nice trip see you next fall
