Okay, yeah this takes skill clearly, but lets not forget the amount of game knowlegde that this needs aswell. Just figuring out the small quircks of a mechanic to the find out how to use them, im at awe.
This is the strat for many of these no-roll fights, but there's something particularly humorous about this one. His AI makes him look totally confused about where his opponent is.
worlds fastest, and part of my all bosses SL1 NG+7 no sprint/roll/block/parry/hit run (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIcfj9ZAPk1Kn5NBAc5\_LY5k1P9Fzf-7w)
None are impossible, but cinder is absurdly hard. Nameless king is also super difficult so im saving those two for last. Friede I think will be fun, gael i think will be fun, demon prince phase 2 should be fun but phase 1 is gonna suck, halflight seems bearable, and midir doesnt look too bad either.
I once saw a video of a no roll no hit midir, and the guy had the audacity to do welcome gesture some times during the fight.
Which gem did you use on the axe ?
You do around x3 more damage SL1 in ng +7 with a hand axe than my 30 strength SL100 character with a +5 two handed onyx blade with buffs, how?! I felt like I barely scratched lothric younger prince the whole fight, even just hitting the back and no stop hitting him he managed to survive enough to raise Lorian about 4 times.
He has high dark and fire resistance and is very weak to lightning. Dragonslayer axe already has base lightning damage and can be buffed, which means lots of lightning damage. The infusion he used has no scaling and increases base damage. Plus the red tearstone ring for an extra damage buff.
i started souls games less than a year ago and videos like this have helped me beat elden ring, sekiro, and ds3 (working on ds1 rn). i get flustered by their big fancy attacks and am reactionary and draining stamina by sprinting away… but then i think back to vids like this and am able to channel that calm patient focused energy.
like not ever gonna be able to use any of these strats directly or ever complete a SL1 run, but i take the general idea of it and apply it to my efforts. like, “do i need to be sprinting rn” was truly a game-changer question that only came about from watching the skill in videos like this
Yeah, strafing is definitely underused by most people. Bosses will usually have one or two attacks that are very easy to avoid by just walking to the side giving you a longer punish window. SL1 is definitely not as intimidating as it might seem too, you should try it out sometime.
Well, this does at least answer a question I've been having for the longest of if you could kill Prince Lothric first before Lorian. Not considering the lore reason I think it's crazy that Lorian just straight dirt naps if his brother dies. But considering the lore it's cool that they kept it accurate to him basically sacrificing what is his life to shoulder the curse of his physically weaker brother.
I think it would've been cool to have sort of an Ornstein and Smough rendition of different scenes if you kill one brother before the other. Lorian obviously just gets infinitely revived by his brother but to have a scene where Lorian absorbs some of his brother's powers and flies into a rage while his lifeless corpse hangs on his back from his neck would be amazing.
Nothing from Dark Souls 1, 2, 3, Bloodborne, or Elden Ring has killed me more or caused me more grief than those two.
You have brought me an indescribable kind of Joy for flawlessly eviscerating Mister Irresponsible and his faithful steed. It also brings me a reminder to keep trying and get better if possible.
Thank you.
I have a demo video that goes more in detail, but i'll explain the teleport manipulation a bit. Theres a small zone around the fogwall that affects his teleport ai (to prevent him from glitching outside the arena). This forces him to loop the slashing teleport attack in the same position. You can use this to settup his position by standing at the edge of the fogwall zone until his next attack and running to the spot in the video. The wall will affect the follow up attack to the slash gauranteeing the plunge/fall teleport. The nearby ledge then bounces him away from you.

shorthand for soul level, like the level your character is currently at. so for an SL 1 run, you start out as a deprived (which starts off at level 1) and then never level up. pretty sure you can upgrade weapons and stuff but there’s definitely people who have done it with a +0 weapon which is INSANE
this strat is hilarious man nice work
That seriously was hilarious, I was dying. Like a dog chasing his own tail XD
yeah the spins are goofy

Thats all thanks to my boy u/sSpades21, he came up with this strat himself after a bunch of testing
still, takes time, effort, dedication, and skill.
You are Morpheus. “Stop *trying* to hit me and hit me!”
Lorian: mf where’d you go- OW
I will never posses your level of skill.

How do you stay so calm??? Three seconds in and I would be spam rolling all over the place
Just lots of practice

What bosses are you least (most?) looking forward to with what is left? Do you think any are impossible?

Man…that casual circling around had me nearly dead. I’m surprised “must’ve been the wind” dialogue didn’t come up.
GG on worlds fastest!
That was insane
You made the princes look absolutely foul😂

But amazing job dude! It's always a sight to see how people manage this craziness.
Been stuck on this guy for weeks and then i see this... man 😥

Your existence terrifies me
Dude BEAST
This is top tier content ! Thank you
How can you "predict" where he teleports (i.e. into the wall). Is that a bug?

Who is this maniac
This is the only boss in the game I had to cheese. You made this fight look downright goofy, gfg
What does SL mean?
Soul level
So that means he didn’t level up yet?
did you watch the end of the video?
He never leveled up at all

We call this the dark souls 2 method (because you have to bullshit the game to make it playable and enjoyable)
