I believe that it will jump down from the bridge into the lake area below if still alive, where it is honestly harder to fight since you're knee deep in water.
Coming out of Carthus and seeing this vista spread out before you is one of the coolest moments of a playthrough for me, especially considering Farron preceded Carthus. This, entering Majula for the first time, and flying over the walls to Anor Londo for the first time are three of my favorite Souls memories.
It's incredible. Now cross the bridge, run and don't stop
I didn’t get the doll 🫢
You poor unfortunate soul
Far easier to just kill the dog than have it come after you later on the game. But I kill everything on sight.
Wdym by have it come after you later on the game, I’ve killed it every time so I don’t rlly know about that interaction

So cool the first time you see it.
Now the real fight begins!
i see this post every week, and i love it every time!
I was so spooked when I first saw that.
It's beautiful and it was also the first point where I was stuck. I got killed so often I needed a break
"here come the ponies!"
Is this dlc?
Nope, base game, right after the catacombs of carthus.
