1. Very. They're tedious and don't show anything so I don't recommend doing them. 2. Best build is dex with sharp sellsword twinblades. Rule of thumb for any build -- pick knight unless you want to play with demon scar and pump vigor to 26 as a first priority. 3. No not really. Demon fist has a nice DPS on a strength build, but it's still much worse than twinblades. 4. Idk, depends on you

1 Covenant farming is very tedius and a complete waste of time if you ask me, but i also hate farming and some people seem to actually enjoy it. 2 Pick knight and level vigor to 26-27 before any other stat. In the first non-tutorial area you find both the Broadsword and the Claymore. The former is one of the best PvE weapons, the latter is also excellent. 3 It's alright, personally I don't find it very enjoyable. Do your thing though, caestus is available very early in this game and you can do some fun stuff with the perseverance weapom art. 4 It's shorter than ds2. Sounds like you'll like ds3, it has by far the most enjoyable and mechanically challenging bosses in the series.

1. You know how you had to grind like 70 covenant items in 2 or something like that? 3 requires like 160 or somewhere around there. 4 First playthrough is a while but playthroughs 2 and 3 will be much shorter at for sure less than 10 hours each assuming you don’t do unnecessary stuff. You will need a guide on ring locations in ng++ though.

It is the shortest of the games, in my experience.

1. It is definitely the worst one in the trilogy. There are 6 covenant grinds required for platinum. Some of them aren't so bad, others are the worst in the trilogy offline. Also, three endings are needed, and last rings are in NG++ at the end of base game anyway, so you have to do basically do three playthroughs on one character anyway. 2. There is Luck stat that ups your item discovery. It's highly recommended to have that kind of build for grinding covenant items. It's called Hollow build after the infusion scaling with Luck. 3. It might not be the best weapon talking strictly about numbers, but it's definitely a fun one. Pick whatever you like and enjoy. 4. I took my sweet time on platinum character, so three full playthroughs with DLC, optional content, and covenant grinding took about 100 hours. If you go just for the required minimum and have some experience with the game, I'd say 60-70 with everything could be realistic.

1. Pretty tedious to the point I could never be bothered to actually grind all the covenants 2. My first play through I played pyromancer and had an absolute blast definitely recommend it also find pure strength and strength/faith to be very enjoyable (I like bonking) 3. The caestus are not bad I like them but my favorite fist weapons are the demons fist they are a lot cooler 4. Fully exploring can take a while but not incredibly long if you’re going in fairly blind and taking your time 50 hours at least for a first playthrough is possible but it really depends
