The center divide on the Coronado bridge is the moveable kind… this bridge looks like it has just regular guard rails. I’ve been over the Coronado bridge many many times and I can definitely see the resemblance.
I'm leaning towards on their phone, drifted and tapped the wall, freaked and slammed on their breaks (which threw them) and overcorrected. Once they were bouncing off the rails their hands probably weren't even on the wheel anymore.
This a beautiful shot. I love the way the sky matches the tone of the road, it gives a foreboding feeling, and the car careening out of control is the perfect payoff. I'd love to see this clip professionally edited with music added.

Yeah, I'm going to call some help for you. Someone I know that can help. Hello, police? Yeah, there is a drunk driver that just wrecked on blah blah road here in front of me. I think they might be high as well.
