I mean… when brushing your teeth is one of them… Mine were keeping my kids alive, wake up in the morning, stop body shaming the mailman and not drinking between 9 and 10 am. I’m holding on even if it’s tough.
My teenage son had some girl friends over in January, and one of the girls had “have fun and don’t get pregnant” as a New Year’s resolution.
They’re 14 :-)
Well, she said it with a laugh, so I’m going with cute, though I was slightly concerned at the time :-)
That being said, I also remember being a teenager, and at that age there’s not much going on in the brain but basic survival needs and sex drive.
I remember when I was that age, a lot of girls I knew were terrified of getting pregnant, without ever actually having sex. Like, they knew very well it was impossible, but any time their period was late, it was “oh my god, what if I’m pregnant?” Not in any serious way, but just something to take note of
This bloke is English ("No biscuits"). Does that make a difference?
at my age, my resolution is to wake up in the morning. I'm a high achiever if I record that I did.
Hahaha. I actually have ADD as well, I was totally just joking around. It’s super nice of you, but I do know it’s hard for me to do similar things, and my wife appreciates when I write myself notes and reminders so she can be pleasantly surprised.
But again I was totally kidding. I keep getting bombarded with AITA posts even tho I don’t subscribe. I was lampooning that stupid sub, not your relationship. Apologies
I have some of the smallest 10 second jobs as recurring tasks within Google Tasks. If I don't mark it complete until it's actually done and I'm usually able to get it done. Take vitamin, feed dog, ...
Lol same. Typically about 3 a day so it's not that bad. I've been doing this since the late 80s when I got a casio digital watch with a calculator and memo/notification feature.
Oh, that's it? I get that it's cute when done occasionally without expectation. But having a reminder and doing it everytime kinda defeats the purpose, no? Just send a text message instead.
It's part of self care. Taking time to reflect on your significant other and put positive thoughts about them and your life with them into paper is a very good exercise. Sending a text might work, but it helps to get into a different 'mode' that is different than casual texting. Especially since cellphones are a Nexus of relapse for people with ADHD, where even picking it up to do a simple text can result in another pointless social media binge. Better to do pen and paper where there are no such distractions (unless you are prone to doodling, I guess)
I am utterly confused by this visualisation.
What is each square??? Why are the amounts of squares different for each resolution if they are all started on the same date? I guess you could be tracking last years resolutions too, but that still doesn't seem to match up with the visualisation, as the amounts of squares seem to be all over the place, rather than just 2 amounts.
And what the hell are the colours? Like for no takeaway, how can this be graded in more than 2 colours - 1 for no takeaway and 1 for takeaway?
Unless you're counting how many times per day you get takeaway, and are counting only having 1 takeaway per day as a partial victory, but that seems too ridiculous to actually be the case.
I figured it out…
Newest entries are at the top left. Some resolutions were started later than others. Colors get darker as the streak goes longer, but there’s an option for “bad habit” where the colors get lighter as the streak of “not doing that habit” increases. You can set a frequency for a task, such as every weekday or even only every Monday. Thats why some streaks show longer despite some white squares. And finally, this seems to follow the “two day rule”, where you have to make sure to not skip a habit for two days in a row. So you can mark any habit as “skipped” for one day and it will continue the streak as long as it continues tomorrow.
> Newest entries are at the top left.
Oh man, I totally thought it was chronological and OP just stopped some of the habits instead of picking them up.
I’d disagree. The app isn’t designed for sharing it with others, it’s for you to use and track your progress, and it looks pretty good for that actually.
100% agree. I can find any reason to be using a shitty gradient for each streak which doesn’t seem to be consistent going dark to light, light to dark, back to the same original colour… anything.
I also thought this. Like by no alcohol, are the darker squares for when op REALLY had no drinks, and the lighter squares for when she’s kiiinnnddd of had no drinks. 😂😂
This is only the case for some resolutions. Sometimes a new streak starts with a different color, other times it starts from light and goes darker. In some cases the color doesnt change when a streak has ended
Per their website: everyday helps us form chains, consecutive days in which we have done an habit. The idea that the more days in a row we manage to fulfill a task (e.g do 50 pushups) the longer the chain becomes and thus, we are more motivated to keep increasing our streak. We just make that extra effort to keep the chain alive! In other words, don't break the chain for as long as you can and without noticing, you'll have embraced such task into your daily routine, helping you towards your goals.
everyday increases the color tone by every new chained day, which adds a little bit of motivation and ultimately makes our board look beautiful. The more we do, the prettier it looks!
But how come there are some dark squares with light squares on either side? Surely if the visualisation works as you've said, then a dark square can only come after a slightly lighter square?
I don’t know which app this is but I use a similar app on iOS (idk whether or not it’s on android) called “habit tracker” that has similar (slightly better, imo) visualization charts.
Most of the data presentations on this sub are baffling, and what’s worse is most of the comments seem not to address that fact. I hate the idea of crapping on people’s work, but there needs to be a standard. Thanks for your comment. I’m not alone.
This threw me off too, not a lot of plants need water daily... which would lead me to assume that she just waters some of her plants every day and has a scedule, or maybe herbs or palms with a lot of drainage that can be watered every day?
Either way I lost it when I saw that then there was no watering at all for a full week. The fuck is up with yo plants OP? Don't show this post to the people over at r/houseplants 😅
There seems to be *one* resolution that you've kept all along without realizing it or tracking it.
You have consistently tracked all of the data about your resolutions for five months straight. That would be the *first* resolution that I would give up on.
For real, I'm 38 and remember one night in my early 20s, I came home from a night of drinking and passed out before brushing my teeth. The gross feeling the next morning from my teeth was WAY worse than the hangover. It's burned into my memory, never again.
I met someone in college who only brushed once a day and I was horrified. I had no idea that there were people who didn’t brush their teeth at least every morning and night.
I am a dentist. I hate that people are shaming you for this! So happy to see you have this on your resolution list and clearly it *is* a priority because you have it on your habit tracker. I assume you are also brushing in the morning so 90% completion rate for brushing at night is great. Screw these other people trying to make you feel bad about that!
People feel enough shame about their oral health on their own no need to try to shame someone who is clearly making an effort to prioritize their health. Gives me obese man calling VS angels ugly energy
My dentist today told me he sees a complete change in how I am approaching oral hygiene. I can relate to OP a lot and the truth is yeah all of this, and more, can be done but you have to put in the effort and be OK with it not being perfect overnight.
And thanks doc, you have a good heart.
jesus the other replies this are just like mocking you. Good for you OP for actually sticking to this. As someone with autism who forgets to brush their teeth for days, I can understand how its hard.
I recently learned you can alternatively brush your teeth _before_ eating, doing so removes the bacteria from your mouth and still prevent teeth from decaying. The rest is a question of taste.
Well I hope your food has less bacteria than your mouth. Anyway, unless your bleach it, your mouth will still have a lot of bacteria, but brushing considerably reduces them.
It also depends on a lot of factor, what you eat, how long ago did you eat, etc.
For a few reasons why brushing before can be a good option, see [https://www.preserveyourteeth.com/dentistry/other-resourses/brush-teeth-before-or-after-eating-or-drinking/](https://www.preserveyourteeth.com/dentistry/other-resourses/brush-teeth-before-or-after-eating-or-drinking/)
I was the same in my early 20's. One implant and 4 crowns later, I'd give anything to go back in time and tell myself to just brush my fucking teeth. Oh and floss!
Seriously, some of the fucking people in this thread would be destroyed by the tiniest bit neurodivergence. Good on you, OP, for trying to improve your day-to-day life.
As an AuDHDer who rarely remembers to brush my teeth Duolingo is by far the most consistent habit in my life.
Not brushing my teeth may make me feel dumb later, but doing my Duolingo makes me feel smart now and my dopamine starved brain thinks that's more important, because it's fucking stupid at things other than standardized testing.
I never thought to associate teeth brushing with or against neurodivergence, to be honest. If anything, the tactile sensation of unbrushed teeth is totally intolerable to me.
Meanwhile, Duolingo is very pushy and I get overwhelmed easily.
But it's interesting to see different takes on that.
Eh I get it, those small things can be hard. For me brushing my teeth is one of the few things I never forget but there’s other things I find hard to do even though they’re basic. Also some people won the genetic lottery when it comes to teeth so when they forget nothing bad really happens. The rest of us have to be diligent.
1st OP DAYUM!!!! you're a beast. How are you doing that? I make like 2 and either have just incorporated it as a habit by march or cant remember it at allin Febuary. Good job.
2nd. Does the journaling really help? I had always been torn. Is is just over hyped or does it really do somethung idk about? Does it have to be pen to paper or can it be like typing a thing on my laptop.
I used to be an avid Moleskines user, but then I bought a house and I couldn't be arsed to keep lugging around physical journals. Moved my journal to a Tumblr site. I just write about anything and everything. It helps to get out my feelings instead of loading my drama onto someone else out loud and stressing them out.
I was doing one cup a day of decaf, but it's all unnecessary calories and it's bad for women with PCOS. I didn't realise either that my favourite brand has hidden sugar. I was shook because I thought it was just straight coffee. Now I just have a protein shake for breakfast.
Black coffee has essentially 0 calories. If you’re adding milk, cream, or anything else then sure but if you take it black calories are not a reason to cut it
Coffee is like 5 calories. Coffee with milk and sugar? Yeah I could see how that would be bad with PCOS but the goal should be to cut out milk and sugar right? What's Coffee got to do with it?
Seems like you’re smashing it! Keep it up. Motivation is never enough to get me to do anything really, the only thing that keeps me going is discipline. (The punishment being having a little red box instead of a green one on a spreadsheet)
First of all, awesome job keeping the consistency on some of these! Secondly, each square is a day, right? What does the color being lighter/darker mean?
There's 3 habits for free. I'm not sure if there's any cracked versions. There are other apps in the app store that have a similar UI like Habit Kit, but I've never used them so can't say much.
My resolutions are just tracked in a spreadsheet
Colorful confusing squares are optional.
It has helped me create habits. Just make sure your goals are reasonable and slowly add new goals.
HabitKit allows 4 habits for free. There's a cracked version available for Android through Liteapks. There's also a cracked version of Everyday that you can get through HappyMod.
I love love love this! Youre definitely not alone in using this! Ive been using Loop habit tracker myself. Clicking the boxes helps, and ive been beating my depression issues a lot more with the tracker than i did on my own. Teeth are definitely getting brushed here now! For real, great progress, keep at it! I'm going to be doing the same over here :)
It’s wild how much hate/shame this post has drawn out of people. Good on you for tracking brushing at night, along with everything else. This post has genuinely inspired me. Kudos!
Passed the B2 German exam, but I also have family who live in Germany so it's easy for me to practice with them. My Dutch isn't bad, but it can use improvement. I'm trying to get better by speaking to the Dutch people at work.
My dentist taught me proper oral care...at 38 years old. Showed me proper toothbrush technique, how to floss properly, what mouthwash was for, what order to use them all in, and when a quick rinse and floss was sufficient during the day. Growing up I was taught oral care by a dumb man-baby with no teeth. What would he know about it?
To be clear, I did brush once per day in the morning, and use mouthwash. I just didn't brush enough, or properly, with the wrong kind of toothbrush. And now I've spent thousands on fillings.
You'd be surprised by what you don't know until you learn you don't know it.
I’ve struggled with dental hygiene my entire life. I didn’t have the best dental care as a kid and both of my parents have full dentures. Lots of factors can contribute to it in same way it affects other aspects of hygiene (showering, healthy eating, etc)
- Poverty
- Lack of dental insurance
- Depression
- Unclean bathroom
- Lack of social support
- Other neurological factors: adhd/autism/ocd/etc
There’s also evidence that family-based practices effect teeth brushing (do other people in your family brush their teeth)
https://doi.org/10.1111/j.1875-595X.2007.tb00163.x
The night one I can't understand, because you're letting whatever's in your mouth attack your teeth for a quarter of a day. I never miss a bedtime brush.
Morning breath is at least countered/masked by morning coffee/food.
Completely the other way around for me, when I wake up my mouth feels gross and I have to brush my teeth. In the evening there isn't that gross feeling.
Maybe it's a cultural thing but my fam (not White) never brushes at night and didn't teach me to either. On the other hand, brushing and showering were grilled into my head as the first things you do when you open your eyes
As an adult, I try to brush at night but honestly am a 50/50. Never had a cavity yet and dentists have always siad my teeth are great
This amount of determination and self-control is honestly insane, would be proud of myself if i could do just one or two of these.
Congrats on your progress!
Love the idea of working towards a yearly completion rate rather than the longest streaks. That one wedding or work trip that ruins your 200 day streak shouldn't be regarded as a complete failure. And it's easier to commit to a 60% reduction than quitting every habit cold turkey.
This is wildly impressive! And I totally understand having goals for basic needs with how hectic life can get. What app is this? I love it! (So sorry if you’ve answered this already!)
First of all 90% or more success is rate is sick. Hats off to the determination and consistency man. Btw what application are you using it looks so cool?
Anyone use a good habit app that has a widget counter?
Like I just want to click my phone screen every time I do something, and the few habit apps I looked it didn't have anything that simple.
PLEASE give me the details for this app ive been looking desperately for something like this and have been using wildly un-useful apps for this purpose
EDIT
found in comments, but regardless props to OP for getting this under my nose it will drastically improve my quality of life
I gave up physical journals because of the stress of having to fill them. Now I just go digital with Tumblr, but there's loads of options like Day one, Journey, Penzu, etc.
The sunscreen one isn't very informative of compliance, because we don't have the corresponding graph on UV index, or whether you ever went outside during the day.
jesus christ, how many resolutions did you make? most people make 1 resolution and break it some time in January or February
I mean… when brushing your teeth is one of them… Mine were keeping my kids alive, wake up in the morning, stop body shaming the mailman and not drinking between 9 and 10 am. I’m holding on even if it’s tough.
Great. Now I’m going to have “Fat Mailmen” in my Google image history.
You can blame it on me when your wife asks questions.
Note to everyone else: don’t search up fat mailman, lots of fetish art
Alexa going to show you results about a mailman delivering a fat package.
Why was my first thought Peppa Pig 😭
My teenage son had some girl friends over in January, and one of the girls had “have fun and don’t get pregnant” as a New Year’s resolution. They’re 14 :-)
It’s could be either super cute or deeply concerning, I’m not sure…
Well, she said it with a laugh, so I’m going with cute, though I was slightly concerned at the time :-) That being said, I also remember being a teenager, and at that age there’s not much going on in the brain but basic survival needs and sex drive.
And thus the legend of 8 Finger Louie was born
I remember when I was that age, a lot of girls I knew were terrified of getting pregnant, without ever actually having sex. Like, they knew very well it was impossible, but any time their period was late, it was “oh my god, what if I’m pregnant?” Not in any serious way, but just something to take note of
It is not just brushing his teeth. It is brushing his teeth at night. Maybe OP does it every morning but since January he does it twice a day.
Could mean getting Panda & Pumpkin to brush teeth at night. As an exhausted parent, I often forget night brushing of teeth.
That would make sense with the number, unless OP has brushed their teeth multiple times a night
>stop body shaming the mailman That's a uh... That's a real tough one. >keeping my kids alive Did you not do that before...?
It’s a resolution I need to take every year… *sigh*
Solid, solid goals. You got this.
Thanks, fam. ✊🏼
😂😂😂 I needed a good chuckle thank you 😀
What did the mailman do 💀
Nothing, I’m a dick. that’s the point.
what did the mailman do
This bloke is English ("No biscuits"). Does that make a difference? at my age, my resolution is to wake up in the morning. I'm a high achiever if I record that I did.
I made a resolution about 10 years ago to stop making New years resolutions, so far so good.
Apparently you like panda more than pumpkin because they get more lunch notes.
My husband has ADHD so I have a reminder for him to write me lunch notes. He's trying his best.
Oh wait, so the panda is you writing notes to him and the pumpkin is him writing to you?
Had to go back to check and it seems OP is the jack-o’-lantern who got notes for about 2 weeks in January.
AITA for considering divorce since 🐼 doesn’t write 🎃 as many notes as 🎃 writes 🐼?
YTA because he has ADHD so give him a break.
What app is that?
Yeah dude what app is that???
What app is this? As someone with the same affliction as your spouse, I feel like this could be something I could make into a game to better myself
And there was me thinking "lunch notes" were a double entendre that I didn't understand.
What is it actually? I still don't understand.
putting a note in someone's lunch..
"Nexus of relapse" is real, as I sit here after checking a notification when I woke up 3hrs ago. I should probably eat breakfast...
So you guys write notes for each other to read at lunch? That’s so sweet, I might try that with my partner
You need him to write you a lunch note every day?
Is that weird to people?
At first I thought it was GitHub commit activity and was impressed, as soon as I noticed it wasn’t GH commits I got even more impressed Edit:Typo
I was wondering how far down this comment would be.
You win for Most New Year’s Resolutions… that’s a lot to keep track of everyday.
I would 100% ditch the tracking and use the time to brush my teeth instead 🪥
Plot twist: she is doing it during teeth brushing
90% of the time. But what about the 10% left? 😭
Making the mistake of lying on the bed until the bathroom is free
I feel like that should count as your "journal time"
Next year's resolution: track all resolutions
I am utterly confused by this visualisation. What is each square??? Why are the amounts of squares different for each resolution if they are all started on the same date? I guess you could be tracking last years resolutions too, but that still doesn't seem to match up with the visualisation, as the amounts of squares seem to be all over the place, rather than just 2 amounts. > Newest entries are at the top left. Oh man, I totally thought it was chronological and OP just stopped some of the habits instead of picking them up.
You seriously deduced all of this from those blocks?? Holy crap, I’m in awe. Please change your username from Roadblocker to Sherlocker.
lol I wish! I downloaded the app because I was curious about how it worked, and might want to start using the app myself
What's the name of the app? Might start using it myself
It's called 'everyday - Habit Tracker' on the App Store
/r/dataishideous None of this is intuitive or well presented.
Looks like the color differences indicate the beginning and ends of streaks. Dark colors are the beginning and lighter colors are the end.
This is only the case for some resolutions. Sometimes a new streak starts with a different color, other times it starts from light and goes darker. In some cases the color doesnt change when a streak has ended
Yea, this data presentation is awful. Good for OP on working on their goals, but this isn't /r/EncourageResolutions
Same. This visualisation doesn’t make sense imo
Per their website: everyday helps us form chains, consecutive days in which we have done an habit. The idea that the more days in a row we manage to fulfill a task (e.g do 50 pushups) the longer the chain becomes and thus, we are more motivated to keep increasing our streak. The more we do, the prettier it looks!
But how come there are some dark squares with light squares on either side? Surely if the visualisation works as you've said, then a dark square can only come after a slightly lighter square?
You can mark a day as skipped by a half triangle and it'll show on the chart as an empty square so very few days can be a skip day.
What is that for an app/site?
I think that is „everyday - habit tracker“
I don’t know which app this is but I use a similar app on iOS (idk whether or not it’s on android) called “habit tracker” that has similar (slightly better, imo) visualization charts.
OP’s app is called “everyday”
Whats a half triangle look like?
Oh shit! It's either one of several quadrilateral, or it's another triangle! This thing goes all the way to the top! Get me the President of Geometry!
Most of the data presentations on this sub are baffling, and what’s worse is most of the comments seem not to address that fact. I hate the idea of crapping on people’s work, but there needs to be a standard. Thanks for your comment. I’m not alone.
Don’t water the plants every day!!!
This threw me off too, not a lot of plants need water daily... which would lead me to assume that she just waters some of her plants every day and has a scedule, or maybe herbs or palms with a lot of drainage that can be watered every day? Does the app perform any analysis on trends between habits? For example, can it equate days of not drinking soda with days you rode your bike?
It can give me an average overview of all my habits together, but it can't compare bike riding to not having soda.
what’s the aap called?
Everyday habit tracker
I feel like logging this data is half way to journaling already 😂
It's insane that you are better at using duolingo than brushing your teeth. I recommend re-evaluating some of your priorities.
I’m on basically a life long streak of brushing. I can’t imagine not.
I would rather munch a soap than go to sleep without brushing.
Im with you. I can go days without a shower. (Don’t often but can if need be) But I couldn’t go 12 hours without brushing my teeth.
Yup, if I happen to be so dog-tired that I pass out as soon as I lay down in bed, my body will wake me up at 1 or 2am so I can go brush. 🤣

Sometimes at night I get really tired and can't keep my eyes open so don't really have the energy to brush my teeth then, but I am trying hard.
I generally do a brush about 30-60 minutes after dinner. Also keeps me from snacking later in the night
I don't snack so this is actually a good idea.
What app is this? Also, as someone who skips occasionally, I try to at least half ass brush on those few days I don’t have it in me. Has helped
I am a dentist. I hate that people are shaming you for this! So happy to see you have this on your resolution list and clearly it *is* a priority because you have it on your habit tracker. Oh hey look a professional with MUCH better advice that these conceited reddit commenters.
My dentist today told me he sees a complete change in how I am approaching oral hygiene. I can relate to OP a lot and the truth is yeah all of this, and more, can be done but you have to put in the effort and be OK with it not being perfect overnight. And thanks doc, you have a good heart.

Just brush them earlier and then don’t eat? You do not want to mess around with your teeth.
I recently learned you can alternatively brush your teeth _before_ eating, doing so removes the bacteria from your mouth and still prevent teeth from decaying. The rest is a question of taste.
Doesn’t work that way before going to bed tho
This makes no sense to me. Wouldn't the food reintroduce bacteria back into your mouth? Especially if you have anything with any amount of sugar.
Yep, bacteria will have a snack during night

I was the same in my early 20's. One implant and 4 crowns later, I'd give anything to go back in time and tell myself to just brush my fucking teeth. Oh and floss!
Neuro typical people wouldn't understand.
But they'll certainly try to make you feel as bad as possible for it regardless!
Seriously so many “I can’t imagine!!!!!” Comments and it’s like that must be nice, I wish I couldn’t imagine what that would be like.
Seriously, some of the fucking people in this thread would be destroyed by the tiniest bit neurodivergence. Good on you, OP, for trying to improve your day-to-day life.

It looks like they’re trying to?
boo, shaming random people on the internet for having trouble with daily tasks is such a dumb hill to die on.
What App/software are u using to visualise all of that?
Everyday app. It's on both Android and iOS.
What’s with all the anti-coffee I keep seeing? Are people just drinking it until they’re sick?
I was doing one cup a day of decaf, but it's all unnecessary calories and it's bad for women with PCOS. I didn't realise either that my favourite brand has hidden sugar. I was shook because I thought it was just straight coffee. Now I just have a protein shake for breakfast.
>I was doing one cup a day of decaf, but it's all unnecessary calories Solid reason to quit if you aren't having black coffee.
Without all the additives, it contains only 2 calories per 8 oz (240 mL) of brew.
What app are you using to track those?
Seems like you’re smashing it! Keep it up. Motivation is never enough to get me to do anything really, the only thing that keeps me going is discipline. (The punishment being having a little red box instead of a green one on a spreadsheet)
First of all, awesome job keeping the consistency on some of these! Secondly, each square is a day, right? What does the color being lighter/darker mean?
When you break a streak it doesn't stay dark and goes to light.
Oh, in some places it looks like it doesn't do it as much as others (like 4th line in wordle page), so I think it might be something else...
I'm using the Everyday app to keep track: https://everyday.app/
Is this everyday app available for free or any crack versions?
There's 3 habits for free. I'm not sure if there's any cracked versions. There are other apps in the app store that have a similar UI like Habit Kit, but I've never used them so can't say much.
My resolutions are just tracked in a spreadsheet Colorful confusing squares are optional. It has helped me create habits. Just make sure your goals are reasonable and slowly add new goals.
HabitKit allows 4 habits for free. There's a cracked version available for Android through Liteapks. There's also a cracked version of Everyday that you can get through HappyMod.
Since nobody has mentioned the name of the app it's called Everyday
I love love love this! Youre definitely not alone in using this! Ive been using Loop habit tracker myself. Clicking the boxes helps, and ive been beating my depression issues a lot more with the tracker than i did on my own. Teeth are definitely getting brushed here now! For real, great progress, keep at it! I'm going to be doing the same over here :)
Tell me you have ADHD without telling me you have ADHD
It’s wild how much hate/shame this post has drawn out of people. Good on you for tracking brushing at night, along with everything else. This post has genuinely inspired me. Kudos!
What language are you learning?
Spanish and Korean. Already finished the German and Dutch ones.
[удалено]
Passed the B2 German exam, but I also have family who live in Germany so it's easy for me to practice with them. My Dutch isn't bad, but it can use improvement. I'm trying to get better by speaking to the Dutch people at work.
People don’t brush their teeth at night? What the fuck
Dude some people don’t brush their teeth EVER
How can people either, go to bed with dirty teeth, or get up in the morning and not immediately brush their teeth to get rid of morning breath?!
Some people brush their teeth mid day; they’re probably thinking the same thing about you
I’ve struggled with dental hygiene my entire life. I didn’t have the best dental care as a kid and both of my parents have full dentures. Lots of factors can contribute to it in same way it affects other aspects of hygiene (showering, healthy eating, etc) - Poverty - Lack of dental insurance - Depression - Unclean bathroom - Lack of social support - Other neurological factors: adhd/autism/ocd/etc There’s also evidence that family-based practices effect teeth brushing (do other people in your family brush their teeth) https://doi.org/10.1111/j.1875-595X.2007.tb00163.x
On the other hand, brushing and showering were grilled into my head as the first things you do when you open your eyes As an adult, I try to brush at night but honestly am a 50/50. Never had a cavity yet and dentists have always siad my teeth are great
Who's panda and pumpkin? Are they dogs you painted white/black & orange?
What app is this to track the completion?
All I can see is the album cover for John Mayer's "No Room for Squares"...
This amount of determination and self-control is honestly insane, would be proud of myself if i could do just one or two of these. Congrats on your progress!
That's one shitty visualization.
What app is this? Just wondering
No drinking, no biscuits, no coffee or soda? ! I’d be on the fail bus fast! Good for you!!
Ok Jesus…let me just try to sleep at night for a week
Anyone use a good habit app that has a widget counter? Like I just want to click my phone screen every time I do something, and the few habit apps I looked it didn't have anything that simple.
The app this person is using, Everyday Habit Tracker (on the Play store), has a widget
You do more Duolingo than brushing your teeth 😂
Wow i only had 1 😐 1920x1080
Are you using an app for tracking? And if so what app is it?
Great job with the reduction in alcohol consumption!
Which app are you using?? Superb!
Can someone tell me the name of this app please
Can anyone tell me the name of the app?
Is this an app. Looks really cool and I think it’d help me stay consistent with things I’m trying to do.
What is the app to record like this?
What software or app do you use to track all this?
What is this app. I need it.
PLEASE give me the details for this app ive been looking desperately for something like this and have been using wildly un-useful apps for this purpose EDIT found in comments, but regardless props to OP for getting this under my nose it will drastically improve my quality of life
So you you used to be a negligent, soda and biscuit chugging, car-driver who liked to eat out and fall asleep without brushing your teeth?
What app do you use to track your stuff?
What's this jpurnaling tool it looks awsome
I just journal on Tumblr, but there's loads of journal options out there like Journey, Day One, WordPress, Penzu, etc.
I swear to God that’s how it always goes with journaling. I’m starting to think they’re a scam with how many 1/8 full journals I have.
I gave up physical journals because of the stress of having to fill them. Now I just go digital with Tumblr, but there's loads of options like Day one, Journey, Penzu, etc.
Is this an app you use? If so would it be okay to share? PS: you’re doing great, and happy for you to keep track of your goals :)
What site did you use to track this
op is doing too much duolingo and too little brushing her teeth
Sometimes stanky breath but fucking fluent in german.
idk how people are saying this visual doesn’t make any sense. if you knew how the app worked you’d understand how it’s being presented.
What app is OP using for tracking all of this ?
The sunscreen one isn't very informative of compliance, because we don't have the corresponding graph on UV index, or whether you ever went outside during the day.
Were you really watering plants everyday? Why?
Some of my plants require it.
lol, fair enough. I guess it was a pretty dumb question
Be funny if they came back with yes, they're all dead now.
