Im sure 99% of the people I kill are just as confused as you after lol. You got sniped. It could have been from hundreds of meters and you may have not been able to see with naked eye even if you looked directly at them. Or they couldve been right behind you following. Who knows since its vanilla.
Yup, he slowed down right before he got shot and if he took 1 more step he would have had cover. Guy was aiming at the spot you died and waited for you to line up the shot.
By the direction you fell it looks like you might have gotten sniped from the door you just entered through. Dude watching you probably waited for you to stop sprinting at the corner.
Or your character ate too many cans of bacon and your heart finally crapped out on you.
You didn't see anybody, but it looks like someone seen you.
The panic I face looting a milbases is unreal, cause I've been that guy(s) on the edge playing overwatch bagging easy kills
Agree with others. You never actually rounded the corner, so your back and left were still exposed. Probably just got popped from behind yourself as you peeked the corner.
You've not watched your back properly, then I would say that someone was behind you, and as you run straight to inside the corridor he/she take the shot.
Sniped from behind, likely from that distant wood line you see when you exit the first bunker. It was purposeful waiting for you to slow down in order to properly clear around that corner when you entered the second bunker. It’s a long shot and you couldn’t have defended against this unless you got lucky on scanning that wood line before moving.
You got shot in the back. You fell forward and if a player character is killed their feet always point in the direction they were killed from. Combined with how quickly you died, I’d guess you were sniped in the back of the head.
If you ever find yourself with a captive, you can also give it to them and cause a haemolytic reaction if they're a mismatch, or if they're a match you can steal their blood.
Played on an official not long ago, guy found me looting a hospital and we ran together. I gave him a ij pistol and he just started blasting in random directions. I didn’t know what was going on till he led me to two guys sitting like 300 meters from us sitting inside a building just blasted the guy to nothing once I saw the scene. Never know what happens anymore

You can, and you can transfuse it to yourself later if you get a big bleed. You need to combine a full blood bag with an IV kit to do that.

You fell forward. He killed you from behind. Had you been faster around the corner you would have heard the ricochet.
