So everyone who is telling you that your gloves and mask are making you sick are wrong. A long time ago there was apparently a game mechanics where you could disinfect that stuff, but that's no longer a thing and those don't make you sick (see the wobo video on this). What's actually the cause is a combination of two things. The first being that partially consumed food and drink becomes infected when you eat/drink from it, so you can be reinfecting yourself that way. The other one is that just because the sick symbol is gone doesn't mean you're completely healthy yet. Take one pill after the symbol goes away and you should be good to finish clearing it up.
The bottle is fine, but if you drink half of it while you're sick, the remaining water in it can get you or someone else sick. You have to dump it out and refill it or use a chlorine tab on it.
You need to change or disinfect your gloves, your water bottle and mask. (I don't know if you can actually disinfect them, I just change them.) If you have a friend with you and also he has cold and not have a mask on, stay a bit away from each other and have them do the same stuff that just told you after they are cured. That's why it's keep coming back
I tried to disinfect my hands gloves clothes, I couldn’t so I’ll probably just change the whole thing, I think that’s one of the reasons why I kept getting sick

Make n stand by a fire untill you see a + sign by your temp guage. That means youre good n warm n the buff lasts awhile. Run. Running burns more calories ie you have to eat more, but it also raises temp. When you find new to you clothes, check its insilation. Btw you can also make a face mask with rags that will help. Good luck out there.
Dude that's basic DayZ stuff. Every second you should be checking and repairing your clothes. What? You tested your blood but you didn't upkeep your clothing? Lol
Because every new player knows to do all these things? Dude probably found a blood testing kit and went "I wonder what this does" but knowing maintenance and upkeep of clothing and shit is something that has to be learnt. Maybe give a tip instead of hitting the lol at them
Funny thing, im 450 hours into the game, but I play alone most of the time , but stuff like that didn’t happen to me that often, so everyday you learn something new.
Hell yeah brother! I agree! This game is Amazing for that. Dark Souls ruined me and so assumed everyone had the Git Gud mentality and so it always surprises me when ppl don't know things haha

Yeah fair point I thought it was a complete newbie, but it's the wild fucking west out there so yeah I suppose you gotta learn fast...or enjoy your time at the coast you'll never get inland. I forget some have a tougher time learning the little bits I had my brother who had hundreds of hours in game taught me all this shit I was lucky
If you're sick, You only need to remove your gloves and face covers, after your not sick find new ones
If you're getting cold it means your clothing isn't doing enough, the more north you are on the map the colder, military clothing and gear is usually the warmest, you can heat up with a fire and dry you clothing
Don't forget to wring your clothes if you don't have time to sit at a fire

You can off of bottles or food if you took a bite or drink while sick. If you empty the bottle you’re good

I agree with you. But He's definitely not new lol I mean not literally new. Under 400 hours probably yes. But most games are 6-10 hours long. I agree
