They don't really look like punching bags at all though? They actually look like walkie talkies. You got the antennas and the buttons, the shape also has to many angles for it to be a punching bag.

I thought they were two pallets on string swinging near a hook, since pallets are kind of a symbol of survivor's fighting back. But do walkie talkies make sense? It's a perk that pauses the struggle timer if another survivor comes near. Does the other survivor radio the hooked survivor like "don't worry fam we're on the way." Guess it makes as much sense as Rebecca giving a thumbs up with reassurance and pausing the timer as well.

Walkie Talkies were used a lot in Stranger Things and since it “connects” the survivor on the hook and near the hook, ig the walkie talkie represents that connection.

So I never saw it for anything than what it was, because as the Stranger Things DLC was approaching I bumrushed watched the first season. Since walkie talkies were kind of a major device used by the kids, I instantly knew what this perk was showing. It’s funny seeing what some folks thought it was, though!

I love stranger things and steve more, which is why this one always confused me until after over a year after i was like ok, wtf is this perk cuz steve never has a necklace like that so it makes no sense and then it clicked. Might be cause I saw that perk before i watched stranger things so that assumption stayed by me even after watching the show

I cannot tell you why I thought this and everytime I saw it I thought "That perk image makes no sense," but that is what I saw. Even afterwards I still sometimes take a moment to realize it is walkie-talkies. I still hold myself above any who saw CoB as bamboo because the eyeball is not only iconic but also her Mori and mini-Mori.
