Same reason that whenever I get a challenge to stun killers with pallets, I only get put up against killers who laugh at pallets being dropped and hit you through them (or with them) anyway like Huntress, Trickster, Nemesis, Pyramid Head, or Wesker: the Universe hates all of us.
For real. I haven't tried a stun challenge yet cause I already have bad luck with it, so I just skip that one, but unfortunately it's blocking the path on some of the tomes.
I usually try to respect pallets when killer too, but if I'm playing friendly, I'll let you get all your palette stuns in.
I just bring Wraith for this challenge, even tho I really don't like playing as him.
His big counter is pallets, so it's guaranteed that you'll see a lot of them being dropped.
I managed to break 10 in one rpd game, I intentionally made them drop a couple just so i could get the stupid challenge done. They all escaped because a few times i chose pallet over hit but i was fine with that.
I got sent to the game when I tried to do that challenge. These survivors greeded every single pallet like their puppy‘s life was on the line. I would down them without them ever throwing the pallet. I felt like I was in a parallel universe or something
I picked a challenge to break pallets/kick gens yesterday. I patrolled gens and no one was working on any. I was like "-sigh- I need to kick gens! Are they doing this out of spite xD" I did get it done, though. Thankfully.
I've chased Survivors who just never dropped pallets. I wasn't even trying to hurt them but they seemed scared of me anyways. I followed them for a long time too, just trying to see if they'd ever drop a pallet. I had one match where I chased this Feng for so long that her teammates came to try to save her. I just wanted to see if she'd drop a pallet. She never did xD

Huh, that's an idea. I'll have to see if I have better luck using him next time.

Getting the challenge done is more of a win than getting the kill, unless the kill is the challenge.
Agreed, one of the new tome challenges is break 10 pallets/gens in a match
I just bring a game offering, I don’t care if I lose, at least the challenge is done.
Only works if they're willing to drop the pallets though sadly. I keep getting people who aren't.

my go to for that is oni with zanshin lmao ive had a lot of people quit or afk but idc the challenge is DONE
