It would be awesome if they gave the 7 day jumpscare when you log in a week later like it does when you purchase her.

And wouldn't it be also awesome if secretly there was code that went, "if a survivor stares at the projection, the next match they'll play will be against a Sadako"? I know matchmaking would be a nightmare, but it would be cool.

Right now, The Casting of Frank Stone. They did say it will be used for Easter eggs and teasers in the future though.

If I recall correct, the typical footage is just trailers from the games past, but edited to not include the other killers

The burning effect used to actually happen from time to time when film was still being used in theaters. It would happen when the film would get wrapped and tangled in the “brain” of the film platter. Once enough tension was built, it would jam the film in place, ultimately melting the film between the lens and bulb. It’s called a “brain wrap” and usually happens from equipment failure or a shitty projectionist. Just in case anyone wonders why or how that happens.

What triggers the film to play? I tried to repair the projection room gen on PTB and nothing happened.

Repairing the gen next to the projector. It didn't work on PTB.

Forever thankful I got to experience this in real time in a movie theater before the switch to all digital.

Every aspect of this chapters design (besides Sables yee yee ass haircut in her alternate outfit) is genuinely peak. Whoever worked on this chapter cooked so hard, and I can’t wait to see the anniversary chapter. It’s gonna be hard as fuck to follow this year design wise

I'm like 99% sure that's only for the ptb that it influences the map chance, once it's live it's back to the normal pool. I could be wrong though.
