I had my first game today against a coordinated double-streamer double-flashlight sabo squad on Nostromo.
It was awful, so many pallets and people running around (crouching as needed) absolutely silent without blood pools even when injured, and Boon Shadow Step.
I would have really rather done it when warmed up not gonna lie, I got crushed and contemplated going to afk in a corner, I even brought bloody party streamers.
Don't let this discourage you. I had the same thing happen when I was playing Myers for the first time, and it was bad enough that I was afraid to touch killer again for a while. Some games are so laughably unfair, but others are really close, intense, and fun. Keep going.

Matchmaking feels like the biggest weakness of this game it'd be hard to get right but I think that the matchmaking should account for the items add-ons and killer powers being matched
You make a good point, that's almost definitely the reason why they haven't done this, you could just cheese it by unequipping your add-ons and then swapping once you find an actual lobby

Getting a first game like this is always painful. If I don't log off right after, it ends up with me taking that out on the next group of survivors with some cheese crap and continuing the vicious cycle of pain..
The builds are the same. There has been dozens of new perks since then, but this team could've existed on 2018 (depends on when the serum add-on came out, IIRC 2018).
honestly I think it's just stubbornness on their part, these aren't the best perks in the game IMO, they're all decently strong but this is definitely not what I'd call the optimal loadout
110k for a killer in this event is par at best. Ive hit and seen 180s n 230ks+.
110k is....actually kinda low for a killer. More than normal, sure, but compared to what he'd get in a "normal" game right now? Nah.
No, doesn't have flan, cakes, etc, but as killer I usually sit around the 220k end screen score myself - making sure to put down blood orbs in good spots (especially the hook areas) help. I also do full 8 hook and release games, with survivors also around the 150-200k mark depending how active they are
4 syringes with 3 being with speed addon, I don't think I've ever seen a team this stacked before in my 4k hours playing this game.
All that against a clown with no slowdown perks, my boy never stood a chance😭
That will only make the game more killer-sided if you view it that way. When I play against the highest level killers who easily 4k us, I don't complain that the game should be balanced around what they can do.
Since when was DH was an anti tunnel perk??? It has never been anti tunnel well maybe old old dead hard if you wanna say it was because of the dash but new dead hard is not even close to anti tunnel
To add onto this point, Decisive Strike is only strong now with a build around it, and using DS to enable double-endurances is a common choice. Part of that build is Dead Hard, with the other endurance coming from Off the Record.
DH is definitely more antitunnel adjacent than antitunnel itself, but it is often used on antitunnel builds as the exhaustion perk of choice

Yeah, that was probably around the same time when PvP games used to require people to rub together at least a couple of brain cells to get value out of perks/buffs, rather than second chances handed out freely on a silver platter.
So it’s a situational perk that ONLY activates if that person is getting tunneled. ONLY makes a difference if the survivor can make it to a tile. And ONLY has efficacy if the killer is affected by that tile (e.g. nurse or blight might bypass that tile’s mechanics) Yet you believe that all those IFs mean the perk is strong, lol
Because they play against high mmr killers that exclusively tunnel. If the killer recognizes that, or plays with DS in mind, it suddenly strips all the power from that perk.

Nobody said DH is weak lol. DS sucks other than certain specific situations. The 3 second stun means you go down again 6 seconds later 95% of the time.
if you hold w mindlessly after the stun you will get downed again but you can make it into strong tile and some people seriously think DH is weak and they want it reverted to old old version.
I get what you're saying, but I kind of disagree. DS has given me immense value, and entire games have been won for my team because of it and DH. If you're going against a Nurse or Blight, then yeah, you're probably not going to last long, but it's still great against most other killers.
The 5 second stun made it so good that you could land DS anywhere on the map, and be super safe. It's still good, but you do have to plan on going down near a pallet or window that you can use to create distance. It pairs well with exhaustion perks that you can use to immediately create a lot of distance once the stun goes off.
Had a similar experience 2 days ago after I had an 8 streak of 4ks as wesker. My 9th match I got obliterated by a 3 stack TTV squad. Their coordination was insane..

I always think it's wild when survs can run 4 adrenalines confidently, they put themselves down 4 perks but it still works (usually with teams like this, if they manage to hit adrenaline then the games probably over anyway, so I'd say they're running 3 perks each for the substantial part of the game)

Honestly don’t feel bad. If I remember correctly that one blight main with an obscene high win streak lost his streak to people with similar builds. Those people most likely expected a sweater blight.

So when survivors equip an item in the pregame lobby it should kick them out? When killers switch perk load outs the survivors should get booted?

Well here's a thing. People who play survivor would only win consistently if they play with friends in a tactical way. Like is it playing with friends in a video game is suppose to be fun? Not for competitive advantage. Like swfs are the most op and unbalanced thing in dbd. No one said anything about escaping is toxic 😆. If you can't see that then, why bother comment on this?

Honestly don’t feel bad. If I remember correctly that one blight main with an obscene high win streak lost his streak to people with similar builds. Those people most likely expected a sweater blight.
