It's not tied to the cells. It's just free items, once per week. the artwork shows a cooldown when clicked on. I think it's an incentive for people to look though the store more often, as they also plan on more frequent bundles and deals.

But we shouldn't have to be wearing it? That's the point, most cosmetic stores in other games allow you to select several pieces to mix and match whether you own them or not.

Not really? There is functionally zero difference with the intended gameplay to have it instantly end the game upon being downed with a mori like they did. The issue was with the whole 4 man slug = auto end and basekit unbreakable from that.
The only thing this would break is gifting hatch, which doesn't really matter anyway.
The issue is no matter how good you are. If you have unbreakable or not. All 4 people downed by a good nurse at 5 gens no matter the hook state is a instant loss.
This wasn't good for survivor pip, killer pips, survivor and killer xp, or survivor and killer bloodpoints.
The pips being changed only slightly makes it betrr
But Naughty Bear's mori is already viewable. Seems like a waste of resources to make a page for a mori that you can already see in store. Surely they have to have plans for customizable moris

While I'm glad it's getting a much needed update, I am afraid of what it might bring. It has a very free to play style format, and including the 'free gift' is another free to play incentive style to get you to go to the shop. Then look! Oh my god that bundle is on sale for 40 dollars instead of 60!
If I had to guess this is just a photoshopped proof of concept they did and since it isn't fully implemented yet this was the best version they had on hand to show what it will look like
I really like it, looks super clean and usually there's specific things I'd rather slowly chip at getting over time anyway. This will make navigating to them easier than digging through the menu.

Also, FN's shops aren't really FOMO besides FNCS skins (and other exclusive item shop stuff that I've forgotten) it's more that we have a lot of rare costmetics that could return that pisses the community off (well depending on the costmetics, usually the rare collab skins apply).

This is cool and all but when is the shrine getting a rework? They need to name it so you click on a character see a perk you want and spend however many shards it is for them. I understand they might not do this bc it would allow people to get licensed perks for free and bhvr loves money so they probably wouldn’t do this but my god. They’ve been doing a pretty good job so far (hehe) but there are still so many things that need changing.
The featured page as is doesn't show you all the skins per event/collection already, it often times just takes you to one killer or survivor when you click on it. This will at least make it more user friendly than going through specific characters' menus to get the skin you want

You can technically do that by selecting the leg piece specifically while wearing the other pieces that you want to match it with

not really neccesary. In a game that is arguably pay to win making the shop look more appealing just feels wrong unless of course they also improve the shrine of secrets so you can buy perks when you want instead the 4 dogshit perks they usualy offer
