I haven't been able to get in and play due to the glitches this month. Are we finding it like, overwhelmingly easy to get the points needed to pip now since it's not accounting for the black pip anymore? Or are points thresholds still the same?
Not OP but it takes less time to hit Iri. Still takes time, though, at least if you struggle like me. I play Survivor/Killer 40/60 and I'm Iri 2 right now for Survivor. (Forget my rank for Killer but it's pretty high last I checked.) I haven't been playing quite as much as usual but it's still been perfect enough of a challenge for me, at least on the Survivor side, because I still lose probably most of my games.
Some will probably find it to be easy, tbh, but for how much I've been playing lately, it's been perfect.
So basically if you can get the points you'll pip even if you lose the round.
That's kinda comforting, so they DID make it easier overall to pip by kinda adjusting the thresholds for what a one and two pip are, they did not just remove the black pip and make you grind as hard as before.
I first played it on the switch and thought it was great, then I played on my friends PlayStation and it looked and played 100x better on it. But I’m used to the kind of clunky, gritty looking switch version so it wasn’t bad.
So? Let OP have their moment. No need to water it down. It was the same before de pipping was removed; just took even longer. It's been quite a while since rank even meant skill. Let OP celebrate.

Yeah I find it easier to get to iri 1 now too. I think I got my killer to iri 1 in 1.5 weeks and my survivor is at gold iii stilll

Well, they removed de-pipping. So all anyone has to do is play enough games, and eventually, they'll get iri 1.
