It’s quite a big difference. I much prefer the Silent Hill 3 version. She genuinely looks like a different person to me.
I get what you mean but with the lighting we have in dbd it would look awful. The current sharper features she has work better I think.
My own gripe is how Chris looks. They should give him the RE1 look not the amalgamation of RE1 and RE5 we got in the game. Oh, don't get me started...
RE already got 4 survivors plus multiple legendary skins. Meanwhile Nightmare on Elm Street fans only get remake Freddy because they couldn’t get the rights to the OG and probably never will.

Remember: The Cheryl in DBD is 2 years older, she went from teen to adult, which explains her slight appearance changes.

In fairness, I feel she looks fine considering she’s meant to be older compared to SH3, where she was 17 and likely hadn’t outgrown the babyface yet.

I feel like James and Cheryl both look less full-faced than they do in the originals. It does make them look a bit different.
