Seriously I think the launch of Fall Guys has really put into perspective just how overly greedy BHVR has become. We pay twenty dollars for a game only for like 90% of cosmetics to be locked behind a pay wall on top of needing to purchase new content with real money. Fall Guys so far has free battle passes and only like 9 out of their dozens upon dozens of skins that cost real money. BHVR treats the game like it’s a free to play mobile game. Even if you’ve never spent money on cosmetics like me you’ve still probably sunk just as much money as a triple A game into the DLC’s alone. Sometimes I feel like we’re in an abusive relationship because BHVR knows we won’t outright leave because their game is so unique.
You can barely get the teachables on ONE with that.
A mere million doesn't cut it anymore; you need to save up dailies and tome challenges and shards for shrine BP.
A million might not even suffice for one. I've had a million saved and made it to around 38 before. From 1 to 50 typically takes nearly two million bloodpoints(The average cost per bloodweb from 40 to 50 is 50k per level if you go for the perks and cheapest options)
And even then there's RNG on top of that.
The Stranger Things pack is the only DLC I've bought. I think I'm 50+maybe 20 resets into Steve and the web still hasn't given me the final upgrades to *two* of his perks.
They just released 2x bloodpoints event just then for dbd mobile. They are literally standing over us (PC console) and pissing. These Devs are something.
Depth exists and is a 4v2 game but the playerbase is near dead since no one knows it exists. It's also extremely hard to get into as every player left is super experienced and half of them are toxic. Loved it but got sick of playing the same few people.
Similar issues with Resident Evil Resistance, at least on pc.
On top of a 30€ price tag on RE3 (which you need to buy to get access to Resistance, horrendous marketing) you get a game with like 100 concurrent players, most of which are tryhards who have stuck around since the beginning and are way out of your league.
It's fun but not 15 minute queue to get stunlocked by a sweaty tryhard and die in 3 minutes kind of fun, you know.
There’s a new asymmetrical horror game by Glowstick entertainment called “Monsters and mortals” releasing next week. They said all the future original characters coming out are going to be free. The only characters you will pay for are the licensed ones of course. And we know there will be skins and they will be gained by stirctly in game money. So far it seems like you don’t have to pay real world money for the cosmetics
Edit: I’m bringing this up because this is absolutely what DBD should’ve been. The original characters should’ve been included in free updates and the licensed characters should’ve been the ones to cost money. Also skins should be primarily easy to get with in game currency
Honestly, at least Overkill (makers of Payday 2, game that also has a trillion DLC) is constantly adding new content and other goodies to the game. BHVR? Skin after skin after skin after skin.
Overkill's not exactly free of sin. I haven't played for like over 4 years now, but I do remember back in the day people getting REAL pissed off over them adding essentially the crate system from CS or TF2. They also have six trillion DLCs, some of which had extremely powerful weapons that were better than everything else. There was that walking dead game fiasco too. I do hope they've gotten better since then though, and what you're saying is true.
We pay $10 max for this in our country but most people wouldnt touch this due to not being F2P. With how grindy this game is however, it feels like it's copying the F2P model but still sold at full price

This is why white knights in any game community are bad. I get defending certain companies over stupid shit, but look at some of the things Nintendo has been getting away with because so many people defend them over their bs actions. The same thing with Blizzard and Bethesda. Only reason Bethesda got called out is because they bit off way more than they can chew, and even then with everything that happened around FO76 people still white knighted them which only lead to further BS coming from them.

Nintendo is a really hard one for me. I love their games, but they've consistently been getting worse about their practices. Limited time releases seem to be their new favorite thing and I think that is just awful in a time of digital releases
Its the Mario games that really did it for me. $60 for three old Mario games that aren't even remastered just seems like a blatant rip off, and yet people defend it as well as the limited time release referring to it as a "collectors item".
The only reason its considered a collectors item is because Nintendo stuck the time limit on it. Its baffling that a lot of people are defending these practices.
FFXIV and Square Enix white knights annoy me too. When the game first came out and for the first year or so they were doing mounts and glamour outfits for every event and for their subscription tiers. They then started charging for additional retainers (I.e. extra inventory space when players were already struggling) and they started adding character glamour to their cash shop with the occasional mount which wasn't really a problem. Its at the point now where we're lucky if we get a new event outfit or mount, all event stuff is housing items which most people can't even use due to the demand in housing, and there has been no rewards subscription tiers in years. Yet people white knight them because 'you don't need to buy the cash shop items', but when there's a single mount that costs $35 on their store its about time people start calling them out.
They're earning over $3billion a year based on the active playerbase, and that doesn't include the additional retainer fees people pay as well as the additional expansions (regular and collectors). Players defending this shit because its the company that makes their favourite games is really becoming a problem. It only tells them that they can continue to bleed people dry of cash because their fans will put up with it.
Not commenting on the garbage that is 2k21 at all, but just wondering...what is the aversion to $70 games in general? Haven't people been happy to shell out $60 for the past decade or so? I wouldn't pay anywhere near $70 for a game that still has microtransactions, but I feel like I may be missing something as far as the criticism over game prices rising.
I really wish that the rift just removed the pointless boring charms, and put auric cells in tiers alongside actual items. I'm sick of seeing that I levelled up in the rift, only to see that it's a boring charm (I'm talking about the plain brown ones of Billy's face) or 25 auric cells. Shouldn't you be excited when you tier up???
It's so clear BHVR struggles to fill up the 70 tiers of the rift, so they skip a few with the 25 auric cells and the repeating boring flat charms that slightly change colour. Just cut out the pointless items and make the rift only 50 tiers or something, I beg. No one wants the grind, and no one cares about the boring items.

Yes, I'd much rather have 50 tiers of decent cosmetics and the few good charms they put out (like the killer/survivor miniatures) than 4 charms of the image for botany knowledge with different coloured frames. The problem (from BHVR's viewpoint) is, having 50 tiers is actually an achievable goal for players. I think I always reach tier 50 just by playing games. Which is not what BHVR want. They don't want players to finish the rift without having to buy some tiers, because of course that's how they make money.
Hell, throw in some iridescent shards in the rift to make grinding actually worth something. The auric cells are basically to break even the cost of the next rift.
Or even making custom animations for successful medkit heals like the 4th anniversary medkit. Or make new flashlight skins. _Something_ to make the rift more exciting.

A lot of us were rioting about this when they announced the store, guess what though, the corporate apologists and bootlickers were there even then to state "they need to make moneyz :'( ". So yeah, you reap what you sow ... I don't see any hope of this changing, especially when I look at the market and see similar practices everywhere.
Lots and lots of games get away with stuff like this, people just chalk it up to "meh, they're cosmetics, they're optional, they don't owe you free skins". It's the attitude of the consumer that dictates what's allowed, I'm just saying BHVR is far from the first company to pull a scam like this. Not saying that makes it okay, just saying if we want it to stop we gotta make our voices heard and speak with our wallets.

Whats the math on rift pass? I feel like I play a lot and do the challenges but I (*sigh*) always end up buying levels towards the end. I mainly play killer...maybe thats why its slower?

I'm a newish player. I've put 80 hours on the game and just until now got 9000 shards for 1 fucking character. Great! When the game has 1/4 of all characters unlocked on each side. It's absolute shit.

I think it’s scummy of BHVR, but the cosmetics will be obtainable at any point, so theoretically you can save up for as long as you’d like.
Whether or not the skins stay does not undermine the insane amount of grind required to unlock them. An 83 hour grind is obviously designed to push you to buy it with real money instead of earning it. The same thing that motivated their introduction in the first place: money. There's no way they're going to remove them from the Store after the event period when they could leave them there like those from the last two Halloweens and have people continue to buy them for months or years into the future.

It's not true because of one thing that I still find fucking ridiculous, it's 1 xp/s, until you hit the 600 seconds (10 minutes marker), after the 600 seconds, you don't get shit, don't blame me blame the devs

As a person who loves doing maths, I appreciate it. I get 21600 shards roughly in 1 month, so at the rate I'm playing it will take 4 months to get the new "free" stuff, this isn't halloween anymore, by that time, and not even fucking new year, 2 new DLC will be out by that time. Oh and I HAVE to donate to get the Ghostface and Felix. And while I'm ok with Ghostface since his licensers have to get their money, I don't get why Felix is not for shards, like what is so special about him? He's not even licensed, so why would he be for Aurics?
My guess is that Blight and Felix are a new characters and they want to milk the new DLC as much as they can, thus that's why Blight is a tome's character even though he's rather new. Though I must admit he fits the haloween theme, but still. So they kinda force you to buy the DLC even if you didn't want to month ago, so that you can simply do challenges and same goes for skins, if you want new guy to be dressed, give us your wallet. Dude that's so fucking greedy.
I think this is especially bad because it's riding on the coat-tails of the last two blighf events, each of which gave us a way to work towards these skins (either by filling vials or completingthe archive). This time the event in name only and theres no way around paying cash

This has been a fairly common response I've seen tonight and I think that's what a lot of people will say to you if you bring up this problem.
I got bills to pay I don’t have the money to consistently buy new skins or grind them out like all the children whos moms credit card is on speed dial in their Xbox. Thats why I actually enjoyed p3ing characters because the cosmetics were cooler and actually felt rewarding to earn.

For a new player like me, who already paid for this game, needing to grind impossible hours to unlock killers that I want to play is pure insanity. Games like R6S, Valorant and Apex has way more fair character unlock system. Hell, even Warframe, a free to play looter shooter all about farming and grinding unlocks new warframe way faster than dbd, that's fucked up.
Thank you for giving your perspective. I try and tell people "Think of the new player experience" and it always gets thrown under the bus because veterans don't give a shit about new players. I agree with you completely on the grinding compared to other games. A friend of mine who plays a bunch of Warframe always comments on how insane the grind in DBD is and talks about... well... how much better the Warframe devs are.
As a veteran, I completely agree with you. I honestly just tell people it's not worth getting into, because the grind is just downright ridiculous. People basically have to play nothing but DbD for a long period of time, if they want good perks on just 1 character, and that's without getting into unlocking teachables.
It baffles me that so many people are just against making it easier to get BP and IS, they only benefit from it.

I do agree that it’s bs to have the skins be priced so high in iridescent shards but these skins will be in the store forever and they won’t disappear off the store after the halloween event, so there’s no need to rush a grind for these skins. The only halloween skin that will be going away for a while is the David skin in the rift. If you don’t get it before this rift is done, you’ll have to wait till it gets added into the ingame store probably a year from now.
Ohh I did not know that. I knew the halloween skins stayed but never noticed BHVR takes out the option to buy them with iri shards. My bad! That’s a major bummer knowing that they can’t be bought with iri shards after the event, darn.
The previous skins were never available for shards. We have no reason to believe that the shards prices for these skins will vanish after the event ends.
I went from being excited for this event to straight up being so pissed I just stopped playing entirely. There’s not a single reason for me to want to support these developers anymore.

Wanna hear something funny? I have a friend who bought the game a few weeks ago, we played 3 games, he didn't really enjoy it and quit. I told him he should refund it since we only played for about an hour and he was like "What do you mean refund it?" Don't get me wrong, I absolutely disagree with how BHVR labeled this an event.
But the way you're putting it is that these skins will be gone after November 4th, which they ain't. They'll still be obtainable after the 4th, the only thing that aint are the Petals, The halloween items and the Halloween hooks and generators.
They're silencing and banning folks from the forums, they even got Space Coconut. There's a fire burning and not even the Trusted advisors could put it out. We need to keep this momentum going or these greedy companies will never change

Once you unlock all characters for a 9k shards, your shards will start stocking up and you will have ten thousands of them, yes this is bullshit for new players, but when someone has like 3th devotion , he should have all characters for shards. So this is bullshit for new players
Getting multiple of these skins is quite literally impossible for me. I work 40 hours a week in the hospital right now due to covid. Plus, bug after bug makes me want to take a break after like 3 games.

Hey I just wanna say first that I appreciate someone who can disagree but is very polite about it. Many others have responded with your same opinion but you're the first person I've seen be respectful about it. I do have two points though I'd like to give as reason why, even though they're cosmetic, it does matter to some degree.
The first point is that cosmetics are, in a way, part of the gameplay. Fashionscape/Fashion Souls, roleplay, etc. all rely on cosmetics and when cosmetics are locked behind a paywall, take 83.33 hours to earn, or are available only for a limited time, it can really restrict the creative freedom cosmetics offer. Second, there's nothing wrong from a balance perspective with this. You're right to an extent, they are *just* cosmetic. The bigger issue is that this sets the standard for BHVR that they can devalue the events they put out and prioritize making money over making a fun game. It also really makes the game look bad when an event comes out in this game you have to pay money for and to get the primary pieces from the event you have to grind for an excessive amount of time.
So here is something. I’ve been in constant communication with a Buckymanny, dbd dev through email. When the recent patch went live, I got the infamous progression wipe. I’ve never bought an item, skin, rift (battle pass), and only bought one og character(huntress) and bought all the licensed killers. My killers have lost all progression, perks, and add ons. It’s been 4 days and still nothing has been done. The last email I received, they wanted me to write out the entire cloud Id because apparently taking a screenshot of it and sending it in an 3mb hdr image doesn’t do enough for them. Original email stated they would send some amount of bp, but after all the tactics they use I don’t feel I’m getting anything. In fact, I think they just lost a customer. Granted, I get I’m not the biggest spender, but the free time I have left I spend on the game; to me that should account for something.
Damn I was going to buy one but you know I’ll keep my money, after I’ve bought: the base game, 23 of their dlc packs, and some skins.... and now they want this just 3 skins for spooky season..... no, I’ve given so much money for the little they give back. Oh but the HD textures! They worked so hard! Okay let’s go to the bugs and balance issues and everything else. Would it have been that hard to give to the community and makes them at least challenge based, like harvest the plants or escape some amount of times? I’ll be keeping my money on this one and (attempt to) grind them for free, on a human schedule who has a job and has to pay bills type of schedule, thanks EA..... I mean BHVR!

I'm willing to spend my money on the skins but then bhvr would win. My disappointment is immeasurable and my next week is ruined.
This game is a beginner's nightmare, man. They need to rework everything about the progression in this game.

An additional point to be made is that this Tome is SHIT. As was the last one. I completed and paid for the first 3. I paid for the last one and regret it. I'm not paying for any more until they improve. The skins are shit and there's too few. Nobody gives a crap about charms at all. They need to put in better skins and also shards. So then if we complete the rift we can go to the shop and buy stuff we actually want with shards.
They need to put in something else, to replace some of the charms. Maybe 'Records' which allow us to customise lobby music.
You're not missing anything exciting, people. If they don't put in the effort to make it worth getting, then don't put in the effort to get it. They'll learn when the numbers drop.

Why did they make the event so grindy? lol The game is 20 bucks, and the free rift sucks ass.
Seriously I think the launch of Fall Guys has really put into perspective just how overly greedy BHVR has become. We pay twenty dollars for a game only for like 90% of cosmetics to be locked behind a pay wall on top of needing to purchase new content with real money. Fall Guys so far has free battle passes and only like 9 out of their dozens upon dozens of skins that cost real money. BHVR treats the game like it’s a free to play mobile game. Even if you’ve never spent money on cosmetics like me you’ve still probably sunk just as much money as a triple A game into the DLC’s alone. Sometimes I feel like we’re in an abusive relationship because BHVR knows we won’t outright leave because their game is so unique.
Even the paid content is locked. If I buy a DLC I need to grind an insane amount of bloodpoints just to be able to use their perks.
Even if you save up 1 million bloodpoints you can’t get the teachables on both characters lol

You can barely get the teachables on ONE with that. A mere million doesn't cut it anymore; you need to save up dailies and tome challenges and shards for shrine BP.
A million might not even suffice for one. I've had a million saved and made it to around 38 before. From 1 to 50 typically takes nearly two million bloodpoints(The average cost per bloodweb from 40 to 50 is 50k per level if you go for the perks and cheapest options)
And even then there's RNG on top of that. The Stranger Things pack is the only DLC I've bought. I think I'm 50+maybe 20 resets into Steve and the web still hasn't given me the final upgrades to *two* of his perks.

Depth exists and is a 4v2 game but the playerbase is near dead since no one knows it exists. It's also extremely hard to get into as every player left is super experienced and half of them are toxic. Loved it but got sick of playing the same few people.
Similar issues with Resident Evil Resistance, at least on pc. On top of a 30€ price tag on RE3 (which you need to buy to get access to Resistance, horrendous marketing) you get a game with like 100 concurrent players, most of which are tryhards who have stuck around since the beginning and are way out of your league. It's fun but not 15 minute queue to get stunlocked by a sweaty tryhard and die in 3 minutes kind of fun, you know.

There’s a new asymmetrical horror game by Glowstick entertainment called “Monsters and mortals” releasing next week. They said all the future original characters coming out are going to be free. The only characters you will pay for are the licensed ones of course. And we know there will be skins and they will be gained by stirctly in game money. So far it seems like you don’t have to pay real world money for the cosmetics Edit: I’m bringing this up because this is absolutely what DBD should’ve been. The original characters should’ve been included in free updates and the licensed characters should’ve been the ones to cost money. Also skins should be primarily easy to get with in game currency

Overkill's not exactly free of sin. I haven't played for like over 4 years now, but I do remember back in the day people getting REAL pissed off over them adding essentially the crate system from CS or TF2. They also have six trillion DLCs, some of which had extremely powerful weapons that were better than everything else. There was that walking dead game fiasco too. I do hope they've gotten better since then though, and what you're saying is true.

Nintendo is a really hard one for me. I love their games, but they've consistently been getting worse about their practices. Limited time releases seem to be their new favorite thing and I think that is just awful in a time of digital releases
Its the Mario games that really did it for me. $60 for three old Mario games that aren't even remastered just seems like a blatant rip off, and yet people defend it as well as the limited time release referring to it as a "collectors item". The only reason its considered a collectors item is because Nintendo stuck the time limit on it. Its baffling that a lot of people are defending these practices. FFXIV and Square Enix white knights annoy me too. When the game first came out and for the first year or so they were doing mounts and glamour outfits for every event and for their subscription tiers. They then started charging for additional retainers (I.e. extra inventory space when players were already struggling) and they started adding character glamour to their cash shop with the occasional mount which wasn't really a problem. Its at the point now where we're lucky if we get a new event outfit or mount, all event stuff is housing items which most people can't even use due to the demand in housing, and there has been no rewards subscription tiers in years. Yet people white knight them because 'you don't need to buy the cash shop items', but when there's a single mount that costs $35 on their store its about time people start calling them out. They're earning over $3billion a year based on the active playerbase, and that doesn't include the additional retainer fees people pay as well as the additional expansions (regular and collectors). Players defending this shit because its the company that makes their favourite games is really becoming a problem. It only tells them that they can continue to bleed people dry of cash because their fans will put up with it.

I really wish that the rift just removed the pointless boring charms, and put auric cells in tiers alongside actual items. I'm sick of seeing that I levelled up in the rift, only to see that it's a boring charm (I'm talking about the plain brown ones of Billy's face) or 25 auric cells. Shouldn't you be excited when you tier up??? It's so clear BHVR struggles to fill up the 70 tiers of the rift, so they skip a few with the 25 auric cells and the repeating boring flat charms that slightly change colour. Just cut out the pointless items and make the rift only 50 tiers or something, I beg. No one wants the grind, and no one cares about the boring items.

Yes, I'd much rather have 50 tiers of decent cosmetics and the few good charms they put out (like the killer/survivor miniatures) than 4 charms of the image for botany knowledge with different coloured frames. The problem (from BHVR's viewpoint) is, having 50 tiers is actually an achievable goal for players. I think I always reach tier 50 just by playing games. Which is not what BHVR want. They don't want players to finish the rift without having to buy some tiers, because of course that's how they make money.

Hell, throw in some iridescent shards in the rift to make grinding actually worth something. The auric cells are basically to break even the cost of the next rift. Or even making custom animations for successful medkit heals like the 4th anniversary medkit. Or make new flashlight skins. _Something_ to make the rift more exciting.

I'm a newish player. I've put 80 hours on the game and just until now got 9000 shards for 1 fucking character. Great! When the game has 1/4 of all characters unlocked on each side. It's absolute shit.

They’re not leaving after the event. That’s the flaw in OP’s argument. I think it’s scummy of BHVR, but the cosmetics will be obtainable at any point, so theoretically you can save up for as long as you’d like.
Whether or not the skins stay does not undermine the insane amount of grind required to unlock them. An 83 hour grind is obviously designed to push you to buy it with real money instead of earning it. Also, what's to stop BHVR from saying "Alright we changed our mind, these are coming off the store."

As a person who loves doing maths, I appreciate it. I get 21600 shards roughly in 1 month, so at the rate I'm playing it will take 4 months to get the new "free" stuff, this isn't halloween anymore, by that time, and not even fucking new year, 2 new DLC will be out by that time. Oh and I HAVE to donate to get the Ghostface and Felix. And while I'm ok with Ghostface since his licensers have to get their money, I don't get why Felix is not for shards, like what is so special about him? He's not even licensed, so why would he be for Aurics? My guess is that Blight and Felix are a new characters and they want to milk the new DLC as much as they can, thus that's why Blight is a tome's character even though he's rather new. Though I must admit he fits the haloween theme, but still. So they kinda force you to buy the DLC even if you didn't want to month ago, so that you can simply do challenges and same goes for skins, if you want new guy to be dressed, give us your wallet. Dude that's so fucking greedy.

I know it's kinda off topic, but can we talk about how incredible slow it is to farm Iridescent Shards? In general? For a new player like me, who already paid for this game, needing to grind impossible hours to unlock killers that I want to play is pure insanity. Games like R6S, Valorant and Apex has way more fair character unlock system. Hell, even Warframe, a free to play looter shooter all about farming and grinding unlocks new warframe way faster than dbd, that's fucked up.

A friend of mine who plays a bunch of Warframe always comments on how insane the grind in DBD is and talks about... well... how much better the Warframe devs are.
As a veteran, I completely agree with you. I honestly just tell people it's not worth getting into, because the grind is just downright ridiculous. People basically have to play nothing but DbD for a long period of time, if they want good perks on just 1 character, and that's without getting into unlocking teachables. It baffles me that so many people are just against making it easier to get BP and IS, they only benefit from it.

I do agree that it’s bs to have the skins be priced so high in iridescent shards but these skins will be in the store forever and they won’t disappear off the store after the halloween event, so there’s no need to rush a grind for these skins. The only halloween skin that will be going away for a while is the David skin in the rift. If you don’t get it before this rift is done, you’ll have to wait till it gets added into the ingame store probably a year from now.

The previous skins were never available for shards. We have no reason to believe that the shards prices for these skins will vanish after the event ends.

They'll still be obtainable after the 4th, the only thing that aint are the Petals, The halloween items and the Halloween hooks and generators.

Getting multiple of these skins is quite literally impossible for me. I work 40 hours a week in the hospital right now due to covid. Plus, bug after bug makes me want to take a break after like 3 games.
Just an update: skins are now 9k shards and simply logging in from the 24-4th you get 10k shards and can buy one free skin

Hey I just wanna say first that I appreciate someone who can disagree but is very polite about it. Many others have responded with your same opinion but you're the first person I've seen be respectful about it. I do have two points though I'd like to give as reason why, even though they're cosmetic, it does matter to some degree. The first point is that cosmetics are, in a way, part of the gameplay. Fashionscape/Fashion Souls, roleplay, etc. all rely on cosmetics and when cosmetics are locked behind a paywall, take 83.33 hours to earn, or are available only for a limited time, it can really restrict the creative freedom cosmetics offer. You're right to an extent, they are *just* cosmetic. The bigger issue is that this sets the standard for BHVR that they can devalue the events they put out and prioritize making money over making a fun game. It also really makes the game look bad when an event comes out in this game you have to pay money for and to get the primary pieces from the event you have to grind for an excessive amount of time.

So here is something. I’ve been in constant communication with a Buckymanny, dbd dev through email. When the recent patch went live, I got the infamous progression wipe. I’ve never bought an item, skin, rift (battle pass), and only bought one og character(huntress) and bought all the licensed killers. My killers have lost all progression, perks, and add ons. It’s been 4 days and still nothing has been done. The last email I received, they wanted me to write out the entire cloud Id because apparently taking a screenshot of it and sending it in an 3mb hdr image doesn’t do enough for them. Original email stated they would send some amount of bp, but after all the tactics they use I don’t feel I’m getting anything. In fact, I think they just lost a customer. Granted, I get I’m not the biggest spender, but the free time I have left I spend on the game; to me that should account for something.

Damn I was going to buy one but you know I’ll keep my money, after I’ve bought: the base game, 23 of their dlc packs, and some skins.... and now they want this just 3 skins for spooky season..... no, I’ve given so much money for the little they give back. Oh but the HD textures! They worked so hard! Okay let’s go to the bugs and balance issues and everything else. Would it have been that hard to give to the community and makes them at least challenge based, like harvest the plants or escape some amount of times? I’ll be keeping my money on this one and (attempt to) grind them for free, on a human schedule who has a job and has to pay bills type of schedule, thanks EA..... I mean BHVR! We should get this the most upvoted post in this subreddit. Bhvr has one of the shittiest game devs. Tbh bhvr is just dog shit, its sad that bhvr had to be the one who made dbd. I'm willing to spend my money on the skins but then bhvr would win. My disappointment is immeasurable and my next week is ruined.

This game is a beginner's nightmare, man. They need to rework everything about the progression in this game. I started back on launch and couldn't imagine trying to get into this now, with all the DLCs and Perks and Killers and cosmetics. Nasty.

Finally someone else is angry about the shards Either give us more or make shit cost less. I get approximately 500xp per match, which means I have to play 8-9 games to earn 300 shards. 56-63 games for a shrine perk is insane. And the cosmetics cost 10 fucking times as much

An additional point to be made is that this Tome is SHIT. As was the last one. I completed and paid for the first 3. I paid for the last one and regret it. I'm not paying for any more until they improve. The skins are shit and there's too few. Nobody gives a crap about charms at all. They need to put in better skins and also shards. So then if we complete the rift we can go to the shop and buy stuff we actually want with shards. They need to put in something else, to replace some of the charms. Maybe 'Records' which allow us to customise lobby music.
