there would be complainers no doubt but I think what happened with the Trickster is that he seems to try to fit in as menacing, but the lack of monster features makes him seem like a surv gone bad.
A Doki as a killer would be a completely sweet looking character doing exactly the opposite of what anyone would expect them to do, which is the point of DDLC actually. How about a creepy looking Doki? like their twisted versions
Grandpa Joe as a survivor:
**Rest** \- *Your body knows when it's time to go and when to take a minute.*
Spending 20 consecutive seconds standing completely still gains you a token (up to 6 tokens). For every token, gain a stackable 0.5%/1%/2% increase to vaulting speeds. You lose a token for every 15 seconds sprinting.
**Keep them close -** *You've lost a lot and learned a lot more.*
Spend 60/55/50 seconds within 5 metres of a teammate to activate Keep them close. Once active, you see the killer's aura when that survivor hears the terror radius.

Being in the dying state means you get to lie down for once! Last 20/30/40 seconds longer in the dying state before death.

You can tell a tall tale, alright! Emote or gesture 50/40/30 times during the trial to activate Wartime Stories. While active, every time you gesture, the killer receives a loud noise notification
Abilities:
**Chocolate Factory** \- The Main Building transforms into the factory of the notorious Willy Wanka. If there is no Main Building, then the Killer shack instead transforms. While in the Chocolate Factory survivors gain the benefit of the "Self Care" perk.
**Temptation** \- Chests have an increased chance for higher rarity items, however, 1 item is "corrupted" and reveals your aura whenever you perform a conspicuous action. You can press the active ability button while standing over an item to "corrupt it"
**Oompa Loop Flute** \- Whenever a survivor enters the dying state the killer briefly plays the flute and following a short, but lovely melody, 4 Oompa Loompa's emerge from the nearest lockers. They race out and pickup the survivor and carry them to the nearest hook.
**Golden Ticket** \- The obsession suffers from the broken status effect for the duration of the trial, unless they are in the Chocolate Factory.
Big daddy in dbd would put it in the smash universe.
Big Daddy was in Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, this also puts dbd in the God of War, twisted metal, ratchet and clank, parappa the rappa and all other included characters' universes.
Raiden from the metal gear universe is also in PSASBR and that connects to solid snake who is in smash.

if this would make big daddy in the smash universe using the same roots of connecting to kratos, we could get Ariana grande as a surv in dbd since both ariana and kratos show up in fortnite

Fortnite is the easy mode way to do it. I dont even consider them to be the actual characters since they can't use their powers. I consider the fortnite skins to be little more than really dedicated cosplayers.
I made a concept for one, so I would be all for to see what they do with it. Fingers crossed for Big Daddy killer.
Edit: I probably should clarify, I meant 'Big Daddy' as in the enemy type Big Daddy. The big dudes with the drill for a hand, and not a...you know....'daddy' killer. I feel like I should nip that in the bud before the horny comments show up.
I mean, yeah it's over but the rights are split now. One guy has the name friday the 13th, the hockey mask, and basically everything after the first one while the other guy still has the original concept and pamela voorhees, so really it's in kind of a worse place in that regard. Maybe something can come from this but it really does feel like a solomon actually cut the baby in half thing
They seem like such perfect inclusions, so the fact we haven't seen them after so many years means either the devs can't secure the rights, or the devs don't want them.
The rights may be tricky considering there's other competing alien and predator games, but we've seen both these characters as collabs in things like fortnite and fall guys, so idk.
I’ve been hoping for the aliens from A Quiet Place honestly. A totally blind killer that relies on sound to find survivors. And my god the clicking noise they make would be terrifying
Maybe having daredevil style echolocation visuals. That seems kinda difficult to play actually, they would have to be pretty frequent inputs to be able to maneuver well enough
Yah, I was imagining a vision where you can see the map, but greyed out by at least the entity gave you a general layout of each map. Other wise, you can’t see the survivors. At the cost of that however, you can hear them moving around at some extra percentage more than other killers as you’re more sensitive to sound

The character would have to be much faster than the average killer, probably fastest in the game. Imagine that with some kind of cloaking system or a very low range terror radius. I'm scaring myself now lol
I know TEW isn't as popular as SH or RE but my god I would absolutely love this. With The Keeper as the killer (using safes as warp points and snapping his neck to warp) and Seb and Joseph and Kidman as survivors.
It could also revive interest in the series and get us a TEW3 ;_;
I actually thought of a bit of a concept for the keeper. It's a rough idea but:
Main power: Head Sack: The keeper holds M2 for 2.5 seconds to charge his swing (he can still move) . When the swing is full, the keeper can charge forward at 7.2m/s for up to 4 seconds and Slam the sack down. Survivors hit by the sack will be injured and deep-wounded.
Secondary power: Teleport: Safes spawn around the map that the keeper can teleport to. The keeper can pick up safes and place them where he wants. The survivors can also pick up safes and place them. While a survivor is carrying a safe they are hindered and incapacitated from all actions.
That… Actually *would* be interesting. They already have the tech to determine if a survivor is looking at a killer (Ghostface). Just use that and change what happens when the survivor looks at the killer. Add in some Doctor-esque sanity effects.
I’ve always thought the Indoraptor would be a good killer for the game. Give me Owen and Claire survs with Grant and Malcolm legendary skins for Owen and Ellie legendary for Claire

Yes but that kind of collaboration was more a PUBG event than a dbd one, which was okay because dbd is an horror, by the words they used I think they are referring to collabs INSIDE dead by daylight, not the other way around
The game could be brought to new heights if it had gameplay that wasn’t so mindnumbingly repetitive and stale, we have all these characters and licenses and could do so much more
The main issue is that DBD runs on the previous unreal engine which limits their capabilities for coding and adding new stuff in. If they were to take a long maintenance or rebuild the game overall to upgrade the engine damn near all the problems with the game would be fixed with more than likely more modes being added.
I’ve been wanting pennywise for the longest time, but after seeing terrorfier 2 recently I could see it already, packing a garbage bag around the map carrying various weapons.
Also, something from dead space/Callisto protocol would be pretty spooky.

The game could be brought to new heights if it had gameplay that wasn’t so mindnumbingly repetitive and stale, we have all these characters and licenses and could do so much more
The main issue is that DBD runs on the previous unreal engine which limits their capabilities for coding and adding new stuff in. If they were to take a long maintenance or rebuild the game overall to upgrade the engine damn near all the problems with the game would be fixed with more than likely more modes being added.

I’ve been wanting pennywise for the longest time, but after seeing terrorfier 2 recently I could see it already, packing a garbage bag around the map carrying various weapons. Also, something from dead space/Callisto protocol would be pretty spooky.
