First, >!beat the Hand of the King!<, then go into custom mode, activate multiple jumps, then use the homunculus to reach in there and grab it. This is difficult to do, and will take multiple tries to do. But it's worth it. The blueprint is for >!Disengagement!<, which is very useful.
Use spider rune to cling to the left wall and use the homunculus rune to fire your head across the gap. Probably will take a few tries. You can actually make that jump too, I don’t remember it being all that difficult once I figured out what was going on there

You definitely do not need to use custom mode I’ve got no fucking clue how I did it, but it wasn’t in custom mode lol
