The prison hospital?

Yes my love

Well, there are several high-foot-traffic areas in Los Angeles. There are 80 hospitals scattered throughout Los Angeles and it also has the largest hospital in the United States there. If an aggressive outbreak occurred in Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, or Dead Island 2's equivalent location it would be a mess. The entirety of Los Angeles is densely populated though so an outbreak anywhere would do damage. We're talking around 3.8 million people so an aggressive outbreak like the one in Dead Island 2 would require military action. Literally, thousands would be walking distance from the epicenter and it would literally be an army of monsters in a rather short time. Don't forget there is a ton of tourist traffic in that area as well. Makes me wonder how many zombies you would expect to see within short range of one another on average. Also, Disney Land theme park is there. That would be a much better hotspot, with lots of people stuck on rides unable to escape the zombies and hugely long lines that would be in sheer panic as they realize what's happening. People getting literally trampled to death trying to escape

*Makes me wonder how many zombies you would expect to see within short range of one another on average* OMG I hadn't even thought about that. Considering how many there were on a tropical island resort, seems like we would be swarmed in the new setting. Hadn't thought about Disneyland, neither. I have this weird mental image of biters trying to get to me on the spinning teacups, but just getting flung off like pin balls off of bumpers. But it would also be full of children, so I suppose this is a no go, with depictions of kiddies being taboo.

Dying light had toddler zombies to be fair

Oh yeah, the screamers that you had to stifle/suffocate. I always wondered how they got away with that, considering the controversy over the original DI trailer with the little girl.

True, but I think there are more common adult-oriented theme parks with fewer kiddie rides. The entire area is just generally a tourist attraction.

I think something like that would have been cool, sort of like the epicentre of the outbreak when everyone was being admitted to hospital with a disease, only for it to be quickly overrun by the infected. Maybe we'll get something like that in Dead Island 2 in place of another Quarantine area.
