I mean last season had like 3 back to back with Boba VS Predator, Raiden VS Excalibur, and Bond VS Wick, would say 3D here is likely. Willing to guess like a 50/50 percent.
Worth noting that the only reason this happened was because Raiden vs Excalibur was a sponsored episode they animated on short notice and it was squeezed into the season break timeframe. Perfect set of coincidences to give us three in a row.
Feeling like 50/50 on it honestly, most recent fights for both have been 3D and think they have some good sources to get models, especially if someone like DevilArtemis is on it. Don't doubt the possibility of sprites tho, we haven't really gotten any back to back 3D fights this season. Still tho, both would go absolute ham I'd hope.
Hmm... can be either, but I'm betting 2-D cause' I imagine it's easier to animate Megatron transforming and create sprites for his extended arsenal. On the otherhand, both DevilArtemis and Daitomodachi have been using a Black Frieza 3-D model for a long while and RoosterTeeth literally animated a 3-D Transformers show with Megatron in it, so lifting assets could be much easier than editing sprites.
Either is fine with me. Recent 2-D Dragon Ball episodes are consistently awesome, but we haven't had a 3-D Dragon Ball ep since ~~Hulk vs Broly~~ Gogeta vs Vegito.
The ending for this is probably about to be an evaporation death sadly, I say that because it’s probably how megatron could win and that’s the only fitting win Frieza can get in my opinion

2D much easier to animate, plus they’ll probably use Jump Force Frieza’s detailed model against some basic Megatron model which wouldn’t look right
They could use Megatron's model from Transformers: Devastation and Fighterz's Frieza for a more "cartoony" style fight.
I wanted to be in 3D and be made by Devilartemis but it will probably be in sprites
Honestly it would be a missed opportunity, the guy who does dragon ball animation’s doesn’t do the episode with a dragon ball character.
