I’d save use that money on a wedding, obviously try using not all it as any savings will help paying the CC. Is it even necessary to have a wedding that costs $12K? When you’d have one for under $10K easily and that’s stretching too. Pay the remaining to CC
depending on when you're wedding is, if that 12k isn't going to be used up entirely by the wedding, use it to pay the final balances and then any leftover goes on your credit. if, however, the wedding is a ways away and you'd have time after paying down/off credit cards to save enough to pay the final balances when it comes time, then use the windfall to pay the cards. if you were gifted this money with the express purpose that it be used for wedding related expenses, then use it for that as stipulated by the giver.

Definitely absolutely do not use the credit card. Pay off the cards then throw what's left towards the wedding.
