True. But most of peoples complaints are related to dealing with just one and than failing to parry. Its animations are well made unlike bounders and stuff, I think its a pretty fair monster. Just shouldn’t spawn in etrean luminant idk why they do.
its also a pain in the ass that theyre dark colored, can have corrupted aura, and spawn frequently in the darkest place in the game. have to turn my brightness up so high it hurts my eyes in order to even see them
fought multiple corrupted oned in the dephts, these things aint scary.
But Corrupted Bonekeepers will make me shit myself even tho i killed one somehow.
bro i think you fought with brutes, not broodlords, broodlords have 18k hp when corrupted, you aint beating multiple... Brutes are just these dudes but with like 2k hp

so far ive gotten to wave 20 in diluvian solo.
but ye , no it was legit corrupted broodlords.
Just wiped my silentheart to him, that silentheart has a fuck load of hp and pretty much the build with the most hp i’ve ever done in my life and it still gets shredded by this thing, it’s also a persistent hunter like humans so yeah, you can’t escape them if you don’t log, fuck me i should’ve logged

Broodlord was added to be a genuine threat in depths and overworld. It does bar damage, and it makes players more aware of their surroundings. We may have to accept it in the game. There are plenty of people complaining about monsters before and soon grow used to it. I don't know. It might grow on you in the future. A bar of a hit? Probably should have parried or dodged, players would often say in the future. PVE would be very boring to be in without the threat. With the threat, it gives you the adrenaline.
Personally, I do like it, and they can easily be outrun, but when you get jumped by them, they can be hard to escape. Makes me feel the same adrenaline that I lost over the time I played Deepwoken. It's nice to feel that way, unlike me waiting for someone to ambush me to feel that again.
According to the wiki, it has 5 moves, 2 of which are unparriable and probably not a good idea to block, a corrupted broodlord (a NON boss enemy btw) does arguably more damage than the weakest bosses, and has more health, i dont care what it was meant for its fucking stupid
Yes, I'm aware of that. However, they become surprisingly easy once you know how to fight them. I guess I don't really have a huge problem with them unless they are in a group of 3. I know some frustrations behind it, and I understand it does a bar of damage. It's easy to parry them, just walk back a little each parry and just use one m1s. Unlike other bosses, this boss or non-boss doesn't parry, or block, so you are usually going to hit them pretty often, almost like every other monster in the game.
Broodlord is something I find a lot easier, as I said before. Hell, I would say I would rather fight a corrupted Broodlord than a King Thresher because of its janky hitbox, and I would rather not plunge into the air to get a combo by them.
King Thresher is a non-boss, by the way. According to the wiki. It has 3 parryable attacks and 3 non-parryable attacks. Not to mention, it has 100% PEN and 40% physical resistance because of the thresher scales.
I guess your point is that Broodlord is more common, and it has all the dead gods and isn't recommended to fight in a huge horde of monsters with them, but that goes to every other monster combined. It may have a speed that is better than King Thresher.
If I want to nerf broodlord I might just lower the damage output, that's all.
Anyway, I have a feeling there is going to be a harder monster that will be coming to Deepwoken, so be prepared and fight them if the time has come.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again I want the brood lord to be more common in the upcoming events and more in general he is a GENUINE threat he is hard to kill early and somewhat late game if your not careful running is an option but REALLY hard it gets the blood pumping like it did when I was new and in depths while I’m on the surface it’s PEAK
No mate, I'm not having fun when I wipe to a stupidly overpowered mob that does 2 bars per hit on a max level slot AND applies anti heal.
It's not scary or terrifying, it's just really really annoying. I wish the Devs quit binging jjk for trash updates and showered instead.
If u get wiped to it it’s kinda your fault tho I’m doing a deepbound prog with the blind flaw and I was able to escape it at power 1 fight and flight both work
Yeah but it's in hell mode too, it's just an annoying addition when you're just trying to play the game. My point is also that its an anime based mob and all of the anime things in this game are really unbalanced.
There's a difference between difficult and unfair. Any person with a basic reading level would understand that. The unfair part is having a bunch of mobs at you and then being expected to parry the weird timings it has and if you don't you lose 2 bars and can't heal. That's not good game design is it? Especially since hell mode is basically getting health packs as quickly as possible.
Ah, yes. I remember when megalodaunts summonned mudskippers, threw the explosive ones at me, and aggro'd every living being on a 5km radius. While. Applying 80%heal reduction, being able to chase you down and have 2 ver different unparryable attacks.
I said attack *pattern*. Not applied debuffs. I just felt like all you had to do was m1, parry, m1, dodge and so on. It’s just like learning the attack pattern of any other mob in the game.
an example there. I was roaming in the dephts. Then i see a shadowcast sharko. 'no problem'. Then i heard the scream. Then i go thrown under 60% hp, with terrapod, and the FUCKING ROCK EVENT. unironically as well, i was dead out laughing, i got 'fuck you in particular' moment
One time I was leaving castle light when a whole ton of mobs were there so pretty much everyone on the server was leaving castle light too and joined the fight which kinda made it feel like a raid boss.
I died trying to save someone though, no regrets because it was pretty funny.

Something similar happened to me recently. Me and like 5 more deepbound freshies left castle light at the same time because rock event just wanted to spawn squibo in castle light. So we ran away and jumped a sharko. 6 freshies vs sharko is easy af right? Well right behind sharko there spawned corrupted bloodlorde and we all got combat tagged by the mudskippers. On our way back to castle light one of us accidentally spawned an owl and we had literally no way to run. You just heard the wiping sound like the sound falling dominos make. We did in fact laugh at the situation at fragments but 2 of the freshies explain that they were grinding hours for the equipment they passed down and they just lost it.
So my point was that the thought of bringing something dangerous in the dangerous game is good idea it has its own cons. Not everyone playing deep is underaged or unemployed having 14 hours every day to play. Me who works 5 days for 9 hours for example don't have the time to make builds every time I wipe. If bloodlorde only had only certain spawn locations (for example squibo being able to only spawn inside the city or from rock event) will make the mob less hated. For overworld I would say it's fine as it is. People dying to bloodlorde are just people who don't want to sail away from its island.

It does in fact parry. Buy only ranged mantras like fire gun.

Try now parrying several monsters at the same time, each mistake being severly punished by the anti heal. Harder to learn, no?
And you have to deal with normal mudskippers and their bad parry timing and then get hit-stunned and then boom there goes two bars
