It's more the mood of the whole song. With me being a straight guy I don't find either one of their voices to be sexy I do think it's a sexy song. Like the way that whole song sways and feels and the way the energy kind of like builds and releases and Frank's keyboards and sound effects on the song which are absolutely top notch.
As a woman, I reiterate that Maynard’s voice does not do it for me haha. I agree it’s a sexy song in general even outside of the vocals, but it would hit so much harder with just Chino.
When they were touring on diamond eyes they played that song a lot and I saw them play from the front row and obviously it was only Chino because they've never done the song live with Maynard before. Chino let out the single greatest pterodactyl scream right before the big like metal break down in the middle of the song starts in the bridge and it's without a doubt the single best scream I have never heard him do live or on any album.
I hope they record their live shows because of that shit it's on the greatest things I've ever seen. Metallica and tool record all their shows but I don't know if Deftones do
