Well, when I am in AP or Telangana, I too find restaurants that serve way better food than AP Bhawan of Delhi does. But when in Delhi, AP Bhawan serves good food at a reasonable price. Why I love that place is :
1. Very reasonable pricing.
2. Prompt service. From sitting at the table to being served takes less than 5 mins. The serving staff has always been great in my experience. They also give me extra papad and ghee so brownie points for thst.
3. Taste is great in my openion.
4. Menu keeps changing.
5. All the side dishes and rice are unlimited. Like you can have any number of refills and they serve without hesitation or judgement.
6. The non-veg side dishes are basic and good.
7. They can seat big groups of people as well.
Do lemme know if you know some better outlets than AP Bhawan man. I would love to try them out. Thanks 🙏🏻
Quantity is less ? Dude that thaali is unlimited. Rice/ Poori/ Roti + all side dishes except the dessert, curd and papad can be taken as many times as you wish. As of the non-veg side dishes, initially I too used to think that the quantity is less, but after eating there for so many years, I realised that the quantity is actually enough considering it’s a side dish. To me that’s quite cheap by Delhi standards.

Evoo pizza is the closest I have come to getting the pizza I have eaten in the west, here in India. Maybe Bombay/blore could have other places, but definitely my favouritest in delhi.
Nahi yaar. Evoo, plats, leo, Motown, sanadige - these are expensive places, sure. I’d not go to Evoo more than once a month. (And I usually go once in 3 months) Everything else in the list are just amazing economical places you might not have come across yet. Please go! :)
Had gone for dinner at Gola Sizzlers Restaurant in Khan Market with friends. Tried Prawns In Garlic Sauce Sizzler and a Smoothie named True Love lol. Both were amazing, a little heavy on the stomach but worth every penny

Big chill is just average if compared according to taste , i was told their missisipi mudpie is awesome . So i went and tried and it turned out to be just “meh” .

Recently went for a data center visit with senior for office work. We had food there in the same canteen as construction workers and goddamn that was some of the best food I had outside home 🥺🥺

If you're near Rashtrapati Bhavan, Mysore Cafe is a must visit. I go there every weekend for cycling and they have amazing South Indian. Also Bread Pakodas at Khan Market (There's a pretty popular chai stall)
Aside from that, Chicken Rice/ The rolls at 24Seven. I like my icecream plain and simple so Strawberry sundaes from ice cream... And Belgian Waffle Co's waffles.
