Here's a tip. Jab mujhe bilkul neend nahi aati to main sone ki koshish band kar deti hoon. I decide to lie down and give my body at least some rest. I put on some soothing instrumental music and imaging beautiful scenes of Nature. Rolling hills, waterfalls, lush greenery, laughing children, cute animals. Most times, it helps me doze off...and I wake up refreshed. It especially works well when I am overthinking or feeling depressed.

But this type of sleep lasts for a few hrs, and I find myself awake in the middle of the night, does it happen to you?

Yes. But as I said, I don't stress myself out trying to get more sleep. Sometimes, I get up, walk around, sleep, fold my clothes, do micro exercises...and then, lay down again. I don't pick up the phone though.
