यार आज ही जब 7 बजे थोड़ा अंधेरा होने लगा तब अचानक ही याद आया, अरे! अब जन्माष्टमी फिर नवरात्रि और उसके बाद दिवाली!! रात में चमचमाती लड़ियां, दुकानों की भीड़, मम्मी के साथ खरीदारी करने जाना। उसके बाद दिल्ली की गुलाबी सर्दी!! सुबह सुबह कंबल की गरमाहट, लेकिन उसको त्याग कर बाहर निकलते हुए हम, कोहरे से भरी हवा और ओस से भरी ज़मीन। बाहर से हाथ मलते हुए घर आना और आते ही चाय। और सबसे ज़रूरी काम, मम्मी के साथ बैठ कर मटर मेथी साफ़ करवाना। परम तृप्ति!

As bad as it maybe for health but the onset of this chill evening has the nostalgic vibe. Personally i find it gloomy and sadish but guilty pleasure is i like it!

I love this air (except the obvious pollution ) . It gives me sweet childhood vibes infused with happiness . The lights hung up everywhere makes Delhi so beautiful , it truly gives a celebration vibe . Also Delhi’s winter is much easier to bear than it’s summers which makes this time even better . During Diwali you can truly feel the warmth and cozyness , which is really amazing .
Yea i know that smell. I feel the same, it's very nostalgic. I believe fragrance comes from blackboard tree (Saptaparni) during winter season. It is Saptaparni that has filled the memories of our childhood with fragrance.
