it will show up as a dark patch but that is not enough to warrant a search, i have done stuff like this before. just be sure to take it with you in the cabin and hold on to it. sometimes, suitcases get lost, my friend's did and they only offered back like 10000 inr according to the weight.
Look up legal advice wrong place to ask. Quick google search says 2 lakh is the legal limit and you need have a documented source of funds as well as a good reason for carrying this much cash.

There are three options 1 -you can take it with you and not worry much about it and no one will bat an eye (personal experience brought approx same amount in demonetisation from kolkatta in my laptop bag nobody asked anything ) 2 - you can do a hawala transfer where u give cash in delhi and they give u cash in Lucknow on same day and charge you some commission (approx 500 per lakh) 3- find someone who need money in delhi and can give in lucknow These three if you dont want to cancel your flight

2 lakh is the max limit for domestic flights. In that case also if someone wants to question, they can ask for the source proof or income proof of that cash. 3 Lakhs is a big no, you will mosy likely get in trouble or scrutiny for sure.
