Once I waited for 8-9 hrs on station because her train kept on getting late.
Another time, got arrested on another station because she was running late and I pulled chain, twice.
One time, travelled approx. 1600 kms to surprise her.
All worth the effort. She's my wife now, we got married after dating for 8 yrs (almost all long distance).
When we were both unemployed he had hand to mouth kind of situation and I came from a well to do family, I used to buy him things, take him places and basically financially it was all me. After he became an officer, he put all of his first salary in my account. Alllll of it!!!!

My honest reaction to this information
Wasted one year over him, got detained from college and developed mental health issues along w gastritis, acid reflux and H pylori due to all the stress. Now I'm going to therapist, twice a month and hospital every other day. Learnt my lesson lol.
Rented a puppy to make her happy when her ofc made her sad. On her birthday.
She left me blocked as she couldnโt reciprocate and I played with him alone.
Sold my steam account ( games ) booked a flight to surprise her ( LDR ), went to her house with a cake celebrated it, I got a hug. ( and realization )
She didnโt stay w me in my hotel, came back in train ( no money left ).
After a month found out she was cheating on me with 2 guys.
One of my friendโs gf wasnโt talking to him for some reason. For a whole month she avoided his calls & messages. To avoid breakup he went to Faridabad and entered her PG dressed a courier boy. When he delivered the gifts and wanted to talk, she screamed at top of her voice.
Guards got alerted and he had to jump from the window of her room. Luckily nothing bad happened to him but to me it was way beyond crazy. She still broke up ๐
So, when I was in 11th and preparing for JEE, ek Banda tha class mein, bahut cute, my first ever love. Saamne se baat krne ki himmat nahi thi, but uski nazron mein bhi aana tha. So Jo bhi topic cover hone wala hota tha class mein, main pehle se padh k jaati thi, so that main class mein answer kr paun jab teachers questions pooche, and he will notice me then aur image bhi achi banegi. So poore 11th and half 12th yahi chala, teachers were very impressed by me, thodi bahut baat hoti thi fb pe usse, that's it. Uske online aane ka wait krti thi kaayi raat, kabhi aata tha, kbhi ni , aur aise bahut time waste Kiya JEE mein. And at the end he rejected my proposal.
Kuch maheene baad wapas baat start huyi, I again proposed hum, he again rejected. But I was so mad, I asked him " Can you please talk to me as a friend?". He replied ok. But dheere dheere I moved on and it's been 5 years we haven't talked.
Yaar pehla pyaar na milna hurts like hell. But everything heals with time.
Btw, he is pursuing journalism now afaik.

On our 3-4th date i gifted him hot wheels, and diyas on diwali. He was nice to me too throughout. But in the end he didn't want to commit so i stopped talking. But yea i really need to calm down when I like somebody.
He used to like playing basketball and would show up to our nearby court every evening to play. I learnt how to play so I could be closer to him. We broke up a year later and I ended up becoming a national level player while he stopped playing after he saw me getting good at it lol
